Jane doesn't want the middle-aged woman in front of her to feel like she still has a desire to dip her hands into Don William. She is done, just like the inheritance document that has been handed over to Richard. Jane doesn't want anyone to belittle her because of wealth anymore. Even though what she has now is still nothing compared to what she once held, the feeling of satisfaction and happiness is more than enough for her.

At that very moment, Sebastian had not expected for a woman as obedient and submissive as Jane to be so determined in turning away.
