Primordial Demons Slime Novels & Stories

The air stank of sulphur and ashes. Aosoth dropped her hands and the fissure in the ground closed up, swallowing the band of light and plunging the whole cathedral into thick shadows. The only illumination came from the. Around them the shadows churned with demons like a poisonous stew. The creatures that surged from the ground were human-shaped creatures but with scales and bloody saucerlike eyes and tentacles for hands. They were as much as twenty. They moaned loudly as they regarded Aosoth for a moment Then they turned their orb-like eyes on the witch.

This was where the demon would attempt its final ascension, seizing complete control over Alex's body and soul. Without wasting a moment, Mia and Heartman began the ancient chants, their voices harmonizing with an ethereal resonance that filled the chamber. The words reverberated through the air, a powerful incantation designed to weaken the demon's grip and dismantle the altar. But just as the chants reached a crescendo, the ground beneath them began to tremble. The stone floor cracked open, and Alex emerged, flanked by his loyal followers who had been twisted and corrupted by the demon's influence. Their eyes glowed with a sinister crimson light, and the air crackled with malevolent energy

As a monk and a scholar of the ancient ways, Zoran was the pack’s primary connection to the history of their kind. Zoran felt the weight of their collective gaze and let out a heavy sigh. "For the creatures to possess primordial energy... it is a grave omen," he said with a grave voice . "Primordial energy is not something that can be manufactured or conjured from thin air. It is the very essence of an ancient wolf.. It is a life force."

I scream. It feels like fire, like liquid pain spreading into my bones. The blood doesn't just touch my skin - it sinks in, moving through my veins like hot sparks. Something locks inside my soul, something I can feel but not see, sinking deep into my core. I struggle against the chains, my body lifting off the altar, but the magic holds me down. My vision gets blurry, my ears ringing with a loud hum that vibrates in my head. Every part of my body fights against it, but the blood - his blood - is stronger. It takes control of me.

She looked just as pale as the rest of them but there was an aura of dominance she gave off. If looks could kill, Lucy would have been six feet with the looks she was getting, and just like her venomous look, her voice also mirrored the same stance as she started to speak before they could even open the door. “Guess the rumors are true Damien, you really did take a slave.”

He nodded slowly, then laid the tile down next to the others. I looked at it. My unease grew, because it looked like a bullfrog crossed with a man. Oddly enough, it looked like . . . The creature from the Black Lagoon. “The ‘Other’ is Chiao, the Water Demon. According to legend he capsized boats, devoured men, and ravished women. He was . . . different from the Sacred Four.” I cleared my suddenly dry and tight throat. “How?” Mr. Trung tipped his head. “The Four exact a price for attempting to reach the Gateway, but they are sacred, honorable, bearing your essence away to be judged accordingly. Chiao is an Abomination. It consumes your very essence, making you part of it for all eternity.”

I asked Valerie. “That was a Grim demon. They are a type of Abyss demon created when werewolves or humans experience great pain before they die. Their restless souls wander around for a while and soon become corrupted, then merge together at a center to become... that thing you saw. Depending on the number of people that died, there could be hundreds in this forest,” Valerie said. “No! You can't be serious,“ I said, tears gathering in my eyes. “How did you find it anyway?” Marie asked.

She turns my face slightly toward the lamp. “The question to ask is ‘by what?’ and the answer is a demon.” She gasps. “A demon?” “Let me guess, sickly grey scales, nearly seven feet tall, massive, serpentine tail, golden eyes with vertical irises.” Kaeden chips in. I blink, taken aback. “Yes. How did you know? He turns to Myra. “A Lamashtu.” “Is that what Scyla is? A Lamashtu?”

Spilling out of the rip were demons. They were unlike the shadowy wraiths that clawed their way into our world back when our parents performed that ritual. These ones were different. For one, they had physical forms. Their wrinkled, slug-like bodies were covered with open sores oozing black blood. Most of them had several limbs, each one ending with razor sharp claws. Unearthly screeches filled the open air as the gash carved into their faces opened, revealing teeth that resembled shards of broken glass. The things had no eyes, but that didn’t stop them from launching themselves at anyone nearby.
