TAYA's POV : I had the weirdest dream last night. And it went something like this: Once upon a time, there lived a princess trapped in a tower guarded by a mighty dragon. Prince Charming came along and he vowed to fight the beast in order to free the princess. But as Prince Charming was busy waging war against the mighty dragon, a sneaky jokester came along and he slipped through the shadows of the tower, until he found his way to the princess's room. The jokester and the princess met and they fell in love. And by the time Prince Charming had won over the dragon, he went up to her room, only to realize that he was far too late. The princess' heart had already belonged to the jokester...

I grew up with stories about true love. I grew up watching kids movies about princesses and they always were ending with the prince, understandable. My mother was saying they call the prince of the story 'prince Charming' because of the way the princess looks at him. She also said that every girl will meet her 'prince Charming'. My dad was her prince Charming. I grew up with my parents' story as a leading point of my life. They were always saying the same story, never changed a word of it.

Maddox and Angelo's sister" Oh, now everything makes sense. She is the last child of the Kings, but you can tell she is part of this family. She is tall, beautiful, scary at first sight, and attractive. Very attractive. It's in the King family's genes. Felix stood in front of me, seemingly trying to tell me something. But I ignored him and rushed to Colin's side. Colin's fingers unfurled as he showed me the crumpled paper. The word "prince" was written on top. I blushed. At the end of the fairytale, the prince would wake the princess with a kiss. They then lived happily ever after.

"Anyway! That's why I couldn't go on a date! I have, um…a doctor's appointment! Yeah! Gotta—gotta take care of my…my condition!" Jacob still stared, his face a mix of confusion and concern. Shit. He wasn't buying it. I had to do better. I exhaled roughly, switching gears. "Actually—wait! I'm engaged!" Jacob's jaw dropped. "Engaged?!" "Yes!" I nodded enthusiastically. "To a mysterious foreign prince! He—he lives in…uh…Antarctica!" "…Antarctica?" "Yes! He's a penguin breeder! Very, um…very handsome!"

It was not wrong—the Prince was absolutely handsome. Even at an age of sixteen he looked dashing, confident and intimidating. Regardless of the mask that covered half of their faces, they were aware the Prince’s beauty was not temporary or for a moment. Their eyes briefly halted on their daughters as they wondered how to introduce them together. However, the King gestured them to enjoy the ball and soon enough the charity started as usual. The Duke of Albertville, Abhor Albertville Jr. beamed with how the event was turning out to be. Soon, the ball started and everyone present in the Masquerade Ball chose this opportunity to mingle with the King and get their daughters to dance with the Prin
