The room erupted in applause and giggles as Ella accepted the crown, blinking back tears. She placed it on her head, bowed dramatically, and declared, "Then I promise to protect this kingdom with everything I have." The children cheered. But beneath the laughter and warmth, Ella knew one thing for certain. This was only the beginning. She was no longer Richard's ex-wife. No longer the woman who had been cast aside.
