On Christmas, the company handed out bonus envelopes, and I drew a 24-hour overtime voucher. Meanwhile, the boss took the female workers and my wife to a yacht party to celebrate. I looked at him with blurry vision, then back at my mate. "Why?" I whispered in a cracked voice. "Why can't I feel her heartbeat, Harvey?" I asked with a heavy heart, then moved my hand to my chest as I felt like I was suffocating.

He brought my underwear to his nose and took a long whiff. Maybe it was the way he closed his eyes in blissful satisfaction or the way he half groaned and half moaned, but I was reminded of how he had shed my clothes earlier on and fucked my senses to oblivion. “I’m sorry, but I can’t give you back.” “Why?” I whispered.
