Romans & histoires Protective Light

Just when Eric Chan led a group of bodyguards to come forward and prepare to take down Marisa Miller, a person suddenly came out of the shady forest to the side. The speed is too fast, the crowd did not have time to react, only to hear a "bang", in front of the sudden outbreak of blinding white light, all closed their eyes and turned their heads, subconsciously raise their hands to block. After the light gradually dissipated, the cold wind gusts on the hillside only a dead silence, just standing a few steps away from Marisa Miller, has long been rescued. "Mr. Brown, it's a miniature shock bomb." The foremost bodyguard sent over the thing that emits white light, lending a flashlight light to

“She isn’t going anywhere!” A snarl came from the side and once Mizette rushed forward, but this time she wanted to attack Alyssa. Alyssa was horrified. She closed her eyes as Mizette lunged forward with her sharpened claws. Tova immediately turned his back to his mother to take the impact but suddenly white lights crackled in the room and Mizette found herself surrounded in a cage of electric lighting. Magda had thrown the lights to protect her daughter. The lights sizzled around her and she couldn’t pass them without the risk of being burnt.

Daniela stands back up, drawing her pentagram to call for her guardian god, yet nothing happens. “What the---” “Daniela!” Her words are cut short when a call that is desperate, warm, yet dreadful reaches her. Then a flash of bright light was then emitted, released, and engulf the entire darkness from the pentagram and different hues of lightning that once attacked her. Daniela close her eyes, before being blinded by that sudden bright light. Then. “Do not worry, everything will be alright from now on. I will be the one that will protect you from any harm.”

Darius who was the leader of their organization started to raise his voice. “Sorry for calling you all of a sudden. However, as members of the Starlight organization, we must fulfill our obligations to fulfill our duty to protect our citizens. I hope you can carry out your duties as professionals well.” It turned out that Lux and other friends were one of the Starlight organizations that were very rarely known by others. Their job is to protect others and help them. The organization comes from the government, the job is almost similar to the police. However, Starlight is an organization that has a special task. The Starlight members consist of professional members who have been rigorously tr

They made looking gorgeous seem so effortless. Adonia adjusted her face mask and sunshades, making sure they revealed no part of her face. Maxine had insisted that she wore them to keep her arrival in Los Angeles low-key and Adonia couldn’t agree more. Regardless of the fact that the Heart Strings movie was being kept a secret from fans, Adonia only cared about protecting herself from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. Finally being able to go to Hollywood had been a childhood dream for her but now that she was at that junction, her insides squirmed. Maybe because she knew that, unlike the past few months, she wasn’t being sheltered in the comfort of her father’s wings.

I whispered, trying not to cause any unwanted attention our way. “You don’t have to whisper. They can’t sense us at all. In order for me to explain it fully, you would have to understand magic. The best I can do is say it in a way you would understand. Basically, what I am doing is keeping a shield of a sort around us that keeps the others out. There is a thing known as light and dark energy. The dark energy recognizes negative energy, so when around an enemy it reacts to it and repels it. While the light energy recognizes positive energy. When around an ally, it protects. Does that make sense?” Jarod responded.

It looked like a giant dome of shimmering, purple glass that covered the entire area. "There it is," Zoran said, his eyes narrowing. Mira turned to Naelis. "Lihont's shield is made of pure dark powers, Naelis. It is very strong, so normal bombs won't break it. Only a light as strong as the sun can melt that darkness away."

It just— Happened. The power surged out of me, stronger than anything before, bursting through my chest like something breaking free after being trapped for too long. Silver light exploded outward. Blinding. Massive. Alive. The air screamed. The ground trembled. Everything stopped. The attackers froze. Thrown back. Blocked. The light wrapped around us— Not destroying— Protecting. Kael. Lila. Everyone behind me. Safe. The realization hit— Then everything collapsed. (Kael’s POV)

His hand on the light mechanism. “This light was designed to kill vampires. Its light is stronger than the sun itself. A light blessed by purity.” Lyra hissed in pain as another wave hit us. Her skin smoked, peeling. “Dad, stop!” Julianna screamed. “You’re killing them!” “I’m saving the world,” he snapped. “One abomination at a time.” The room heated until the air shimmered. The metal groaned and warped. My vision went white at the edges. We were dying. I could feel it.

Sparks rose over and over from the healing grounds as lightning struck, but it couldn’t arc through it, spreading out to do more destruction, because powerful safeguards protected the healing earth. As he neared her, the strikes lessened and came at him from behind or sideways. Not one hit near where she lay, the healer’s body stretched over hers, his hands plunged into the soil, aiding the safeguards. Andor and Ferro were on either side of her, their bodies, and the safeguards woven with Gary, protecting her from harm.
