Conceived under the moon

Conceived under the moon

"Something that won't interfere with the view." "Agreed," Apollo replied, tracing his finger along the edges of a force field sketch. "I know just the thing. We can use a combination of solar shields and plasma energy to create a protective dome. It will be transparent enough for everyone to see the sun's beauty but strong enough to keep them safe." Jolene nodded, her eyes sparkling. "And for the decorations, I was thinking of using solar flares as a natural light show. Imagine the bursts of color during our vows—it would be breathtaking."

Moonlit Pages

Moonlit Pages

"Zoren, I wish for your safety. Go back now, please." "No!" Leonard ran up to them to hold on to the two, but a ball of light coming from the moonlight engulfed the two. Nobody was able to get into that shield made of light. Galen can't even get through it in his current state, what with the silver bullets? The hunters flocked towards the altar, just to be blinded by the powerful light. Their father, who couldn't do anything but scream and push other men to fight the two, finally decided to snatch a gun from his own soldier and make silver bullets run towards the ball.

Mine to Protect

Mine to Protect

“No. Isaiah, you don’t have to do that. When it comes to her safety nothing else matters. Please let me stay. At least until we find whoever wants to kill her.” “It’s a bad idea Palmer and you know it.” “But it won’t be the only bad idea you’ve had in your life. Come on Isaiah, you know me. We’ve hunted down deeply deprived monsters in this world together. You know I’ll protect her.” Palmer stood and tapped the desk with his index finger. “I’ll protect her with my life.” Isaiah leaned back on his chair, glancing at Palmer broodingly. “It’s truly a bad idea, but you’ll stay until we get the person who hired the mercenaries.”

Teach me to desire

Teach me to desire

It felt like the strongest, safest structure in the world. “Listen to me,” he commanded, his voice deep and solemn. “You do not have to be perfect for me. You simply have to be you. And the day that man, your father, tries to harm that light inside you again, I will move heaven and earth to shield you. I will dismantle his entire infrastructure, piece by piece, if he dares touch you with that coldness again. You are under my protection now.”

Dangerous Desire

Dangerous Desire

Lena opened her glowing eyes. “But I won’t let either of you die for me.” She stepped forward— and their hands slipped from hers. Alexander reached for her. “Lena—NO—!” Elias grabbed her arm. “You won’t survive this alone!” Lena turned between them. Soft smile. Heartbreaking. Full of something neither man had seen in her before. “I’m not alone.” The blue light surged outward, knocking both men back. Not violently— but like a gentle push. A boundary. A protector.

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

Strands of light emanated from both of them, continuing to gradually dispel the darkness that shrouded our surroundings. “Supra et infra, Ante et retro, Latera ad latera. Nos protege." Another two witches were chanting another incantation, which I recognised previously as a protection spell. I was struck by how lucky we were. Here, five witches and a warlock were prepared to safeguard us with light and protection spells. There were The illuminated area became our sanctuary. One blessing was that any dispelled shadows did not encroach on us again. This meant there were few Dark Fae magic users to aid the handlers and possible hidden warriors.

Beneath The Billionaire's Touch

Beneath The Billionaire's Touch

These lamps looked really odd and very specific in designil they had eight different controls indicating the levels of light each controller gives out. “Level 3 should be like your phone's flashlight, we need all three lamps on!”.. We started to turn on the lamps one by one… “Oh goodness this light Is blinding!” I Exclaimed as everyone stood still… Was no one really seeing the light… I looked up just to see that they all had spectacles on… *Didn't you read the sign?” Raph pointed to the lamp.. Warning…. Level 4 upwards can be really damaging, put on spectacles…

The full bottom of the shield was made of sturdy metal, providing stability and protection. Embedded within the water shield were the waylights, serving as the carriage's headlights. These dark cone-shaped lights emitted a mesmerizing magenta glow, created by the bright polarized light beams that radiated from the crystal tips. At this time, just before daybreak, the lights illuminated the surroundings with a captivating magenta hue, casting an enchanting shimmer in the surrounding waters. As the carriage advanced, the magenta glow pierced through the darkness of the underwater landscape, revealing glimpses of vibrant corals, swaying sea plants, and the elusive creatures that inhabited the d

Hate Me Till You Love Me

Hate Me Till You Love Me

Her voice dropped, layered, echoing, “And that day is coming.” She turned back to Evelyn, “Come closer.” Alexander blocked her again. “She’s not going anywhere.” Afterlight tilted her head, studying him with eerie calm. “You protect her,” she observed. “But not because you should.” Evelyn felt Alexander tense beside her. Afterlight smiled slowly, slyly, intimately, “You protect her because you can’t lose her.” Alexander didn’t respond but his jaw locked tight but the silence has answered enough. Afterlight drifted closer, her edges fuzzing in and out of existence.

to her last orb. Instead of kissing the orb, the orb danced happily around her with a parade of giggles, making Aura giggle as well. As it danced, sparks of light flew from it, cascading around us like rain. Then it finally slowed its movements and rested in front of Aura; she finally kissed the orb of light and it flew into the sky, brighter and bigger than ever. Instead of twirling around the sky, or shooting off like a star, it appeared to be a firework that umbrella over us and fell around the village, lighting up the grounds and covering us in the most protective and warmest shield I had ever seen and experienced. The brightness soon dimmed, but I could still feel the protective shield

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Readers can’t honestly engulf in the story. Although we appreciate the author, only 1 chapter is uploaded PER DAY with a 1-2 minute read. It’s frustrating when you’ve breezed through a book, and are so hype for it, & all of the sudden hit a wall. The stop & go is upsetting not suspenseful. Loses us.
