The Alpha’s Favour

"God." "You know in the holy scriptures, it says; Fret not thyself because of evil men, Neither be thou envious at the wicked; For there shall be no reward to the evil man; The candle of the wicked shall be put out." She recited. "I know you're worried that Tristan will get hurt but at the end of the day, truth, justice, love - all these things lie in a light that can never be put out." "The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot fathom." I spoke.

Sin That Binds

Sin That Binds

“What the hell am I meant to do with this?” The monk’s eyes burned with irritation at his swear word and Eli gulped, whispering an apology. Turning away from him for a moment, he returned with a large bible and plopped it on the desk. “Open the book of proverbs chapter 30, verse 8. And read it aloud.” It took a moment for Eli to find it, but when he did, he cleared his throat and croaked. “‘Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither povery nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.”

Acknowledge fear is an illusion

Acknowledge fear is an illusion

Every morning has a new beginning. It was Easter Sunday and we decided to go to church. The bell rang from the highest tower beside the church; we entered and sat down as the preacher delivered the word of God through Homily. According to Proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Prov 1:7). It is said that “fear of the Lord”, is based on the proper attitude toward God. He also emphasizes Prov 2:1, 5: “My child, if you accept my words and treasure up my commandments within you…then you will understand the fear of the Lord. “ It is such a typical word.. for a teacher to instruct a child how to behave to gain wisdom. He explained tha

The Rule

The Rule

Samarth explained, "which is essential for our journey. We cannot navigate without clarity, can we? The Word grants understanding to the simple. And Joshua, as a leader, required discernment and wisdom in all his endeavors. After all, he was guiding a nation to the Promised Land." Samarth's eyes sparkled with conviction. "The words spoken by God are full of the Spirit and life, as the apostle John wrote. You see, my sister, the Word of God is incorruptible, for it proceeds from God Himself, making it refined and flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times."

The Alpha's Cure

She hurries and looks away, then finds a seat on the opposite side of the room. Strange, but I don't overthink it. Ellie enters and does the same thing. Relieved, I settle in my seat, but Paige enters. After panning the crowd, she finds me and sits next to me. "Good morning, Paige." "Morning, Ajay." Katrina greets, "Good morning, women of God. Please turn to Proverbs 17. Verse one reads, Better is a dry morsel with quietness than a house full of feasting with hatred."

Caught in-between Scammers

Caught in-between Scammers

From James 1, and in his words “1 A servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings. Trials and Temptations 2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding guilt, and it will be given to you.

The Captive

The Captive

Sweet, subtle, captivity. Psalms 55:12-14 - "For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; Then I could hide from him. But it was you, a man my equal, my companion and my acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in the throng."

The Millionaire's Bride

The Millionaire's Bride

The white-capped waves that crashed along the jagged cliffs had lulled her to sleep each night, and the terrace where she read her devotionals in the mornings provided the perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea. Alexa had awoken with the sun each morning on their vacation. Jetlag and the changes in her schedule were distracting enough to send her stirring at an earlier hour than Salvatore, so she used the time to study Scripture. She and Salvatore had taken a few journeys into the nearby towns, and although they had no neighbors to observe, she knew the villages were waking with the dawn. Pulling her blanket tighter around her shoulders, she stared at the passage before her. Proverbs 28:13 re

I enjoyed each of the sweet stories. However, I am not sure how the characters of Gabe and Celina in story two became Brian and Leah in story three while all the other characters, including their daughter, kept the same names.

The story in the introduction is Chapters 1-24. Then it’s different stories with new characters (Ch 25-55; 56-84; 85-117). Love how the relationships developed between Alexa & Salvatore / Celina & Gabe / Sara & Ian / Camille & Noah. Love how God, prayer, and faith were emphasized in each story.

RUN AWAY LOVE

she says swiftly. She waited for Rudolf for nearly a month, grumbling and refusing to see anyone. Rhoda has also been reminded by the Almighty God's Holy Spirit to read Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not put your trust in your understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will lead you on the right paths." This helps her stay calm and guides her actions during the conflict.
