She watched his reactions on the surveillance cameras, pondering on alternative approaches to control his darker side. Taking a bold step, Athena made the decision to leave Nyx unchained in his cell, instructing the guards accordingly. As she observed him, he remained motionless, sitting on the cold, dirty floor, his eyes closed, devoid of any visible emotion. Despite the challenges and risks involved, Athena resolved to continue her psychotherapy sessions with Nyx. She knew he was a unique and complex patient, different from any she had encountered before. Gaining his trust seemed impossible, yet she couldn't abandon the belief that there had to be a way to reach him.

She had to take her gaze away from them while she thought about what awaited her in the room. Soon they arrived in the suite, which was some distance away from the main building. The silence in the place gave Adriana the creep, she is allergic to silence and that's why her mouth can't stop running. The confidence she had while coming was beginning to diminish. Things got worse when she was pushed inside the pitch dark room with no sound. Her heart rate increased. One weakness she has is darkness and silence. If she is left here for long she is going to be damn sick.

I almost couldn't say the last sentence as I feel my body heating up as I feel my sweat sticks to the fabric of the robe. He got up and released a scary laugh. He was mocking me with his gaze. His whole demenour exudes dominance. His face tells me to shoot. I feel the metal trigger on my shaking fingers and I really don't have in me to shoot. I'm not a killer but I'm not about to die tonight. He attempted to move by stepping a foot closer. In a panic, I accidentally pulled the trigger resulting in firing the gun, and it quickly slipped on the floor with my trembling hands.

"Thank you." My heart sat in the bottom of my throat as I watched him disappear from the dim room. I sighed and turned to float on my back. Pressure from all the jets pushed me gently around the pool. I stared at the water droplets forming on the tiled ceiling from the steam. I felt strange, almost removed from myself. I was probably just sad-sad and guilty. Freya and Valentina were just murdered and here I was, soaking in a luxurious, oversized hot bath. Their killer was out on the loose somewhere, doing god knows what. Probably hurting other innocent women. It both angered and terrified me.
