I remembered the first day of the apocalypse when cities turned into hell on earth as the streets filled with screams and blood. I remembered the countless deaths I'd seen over the last three years. The elderly, the children, my comrades, and those strangers. I remembered the people who were killed by their loved ones because of infection, and those who turned into zombies in the depths of despair. "I'll do it," I said. Uriah was so ecstatic that he almost jumped out of his chair. Iris merely nodded, as if she had expected my answer all along. In the days that followed, I became the research center's most special "guest".

The morning sun barely penetrated the haze of dust and decay that hung over the desolate campus. Shadows danced across the rubble-strewn ground as the tension in the air thickened. The group—Joseph, Luke, Mira, Collins, Jeff, Favour, and Sarah—stood trapped in a suffocating circle of fear. Akin stood at the center, flanked by his sentient zombie and a horde of undead, their vacant, lifeless eyes trained on their prey.

I was so focused on the chaos outside that I never realized Scarface hadn’t actually fled with the others. Instead, he’d hidden beneath a nearby car during the confusion. I feel like I’m slowly losing my soul as I continue to shake severely. When we got inside, I thought the heavy feeling would finally leave me -- but it never did, it just got worse. I think he was giving me some time to process all the things that happened to me today. “Zack…” He whispered, I slowly looked at him with my bloodshot eyes. “I have a speculation on how you developed your phobia.” He paused for a while while sincerely staring at me, “Maybe you are traumatized by your mother’s demise.” He finished.

The sound of charging zombies smashed into everyone's eardrums, causing them to shiver in fear. "We're going to die. We're going to die!" A student yelled as he attempted to flee his position. "You'll die if you run, but I won't stop you." The sound of a frigid voice resonated in the air. Rose assumed command. "Because zombies lack a brain and an eye, they can only detect movement and the smell of blood. The more you move, the more they will pursue you." Hearing that the student who attempted to flee bowed his head in shame.

She couldn't help but poke it, and the feel was also very good. I don't want to be shot in the stomach no matter how it looks. But in her memory, the scene of four bullet holes bleeding outward was too clear, and the bright red blood seemed to be right in front of her. She shook her head and poked again to confirm that it was really intact. What happened to you?” Zofi asked. She too startled. “I’m sorry! I fell asleep in the middle of my zombie marathon and had a terrible nightmare,” Natalie said. “Pinch me,” Zofi said while extending her arm. “No need for that. It was really just a bad, scary dream,” she said. “Or you are still scared to pinch me?” Zofi joked after Natalie refused to pinch her.

Everything would fall apart instantly. After a thorough investigation, I finally found out what each person is afraid of. I'm saving the best prank for last. They won't even see it coming. Thanks to Liam I now have a phone. I can only use it for a camera and to text only anyone in the mafia. Which is stupid but whatever. Better then nothing I suppose. Bane has Zoophobia, a fear of all animals. That one should be easy. Charlie is surprisingly afraid of Balloons. It's called Globophobia. Also should be an easy one.
