Psychopaths Laugh Novels & Stories

For reasons I did not understand, reasons I was not ready for, I was laughing with this person. He was the most maddening person in the world. And being in here, he has made me tell him how I was feeling, and laugh with him. Ridiculous! This must be the second time I was laughing with him. As I realized this, I looked at him again, and I thought, 'What’s up with this one? Is he a psychopath? Is he... Like, what is it about him that can be so maddening and makes you laugh at the same time? Is he a psychopath? A narcissist? A master manipulator?

Now I'm confused , I thought being banned was the punishment. "Isn't me being banned the punishment?" He laughed at me and it was a mean laugh too. Not one of those ha ha funny laughs but more along the lines of evil scientist kind of chuckle. I could feel the small hairs on my arms stand up . Creepy ass dude, note to self stay away from this man.

“Is that even a question?” A chuckle escaped him, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “Are you serious? You’re telling me you don’t want me to see you change? Are you actually… shy?” Then, unexpectedly, he laughed wholeheartedly, a deep, rich sound that filled the room. I stood there, captivated, watching him laugh like that—like an ordinary person, free and unguarded. In that moment, he wasn’t the ruthless, never-smiling man I’d come to know. He was something more, something beautiful.

Suddenly he started laughing, almost throwing himself to the ground in laughter, and for a split second I thought he was actually running mad, or better still, had a bipolar disorder. “ Man, you should've seen your face”, he said as he continued laughing, his hands placed in his knees to support him and keep him from falling on his ass, “ gosh, I wish I had a camera with me, oh”, he said, recovering little by little from the non-communicable laughter. “ What's going on here? Why would you ask such a bizarre question out of the blue and then start laughing as if someone was poking a finger up your ass?” I was getting angry, and it was evident in my voice.

Then I noticed his shoulders started shaking. I frowned as I watched him. For a second there, I thought he was actually crying. But then I heard it. The laughter. And it was not a soft laughter. Not an amused laughter too. It was loud. Maniac. It felt like he’d completely lost his mind. I scoffed. He was laughing. The fool was actually laughing. He turned around slowly, still laughing, until his eyes locked with mine. Then the laughter began to die down gradually. Bit by bit. He wiped an imaginary tear from his face.

I took a deep breath and faced him but I couldn’t speak. He’s looking at me smiling like a lunatic and I don’t know why. I hit him in the arm and he just laughed at me. Why is he so mean? Here I am crying in front of him but he’s just grinning like a dog who got treats right there. “Why are you smiling like a lunatic?” I asked as I raised my brow. He continued chuckling and said, “It’s just that, you look… unpretty when crying.”

Finn reacted with laughter as if he heard the funniest joke. His laughter injected anxiety into Lyra’s heart. Her lips trembled when she uttered, “W-Why are you laughing?” For some reason, his laughter sent chills down her spine and aroused fear in her. Several seconds later, Finn stopped. He bolted up and stepped closer to Lyra’s bed to show her an eerie grin. The grin reminded Lyra of the psychopath that she saw in movies. Lyra unconsciously retreated and averted Finn’s gaze.
