She hugged her best friend and cried with joy. Capriana publication was one of the top publications of the world. It was unique too, they only signed with mystery/thriller/horror genre and every book they published was a bestseller. "Keep that manuscript and the contract ready, I'll freshen up." She instructed her best friend and rushed to the bathroom.

Once he was gone, Mad said, “So, how’s the thing you’re working on?” I shook my head. “Nothing.” “Tell me about it. Maybe I can help.” I rested my back and sighed. “Did you finish the book?” “Yeah. What the fuck? You could have warned me about the ending.” He grabbed the book on the table and checked the cover. “I searched the author online, and he has only published one book. I couldn’t find anything about him, but his fans are rallying for the sequel.” I couldn’t help but smile.

None of them know that I'm starting to have trouble remembering where the fiction ends. "You're trending," Priya says, stopping by my office at 10 AM with the expression of someone delivering news they find both exciting and slightly alarming. She shows me her phone. There is a hashtag. #CelesteAndIsabelle has been used more than fifty thousand times since midnight. People are making fan art. People are writing speculative fiction about our "meet-cute." People are constructing elaborate theories about when we first got together, how long we've been hiding it, or whether we're planning to get married. "Fantastic," I say.

But for now I need to work on another project which you will soon likely see appear.
