She knew exactly when the blast was coming. She dropped her center of gravity, slipping beneath the wild, erratic burst of magic that scorched the bark of the root behind her. In a blur of motion, she stepped onto the beast's submerged knee, using it as a stepping stone. She drove her stone-plated elbow straight down into the back of the monster’s neck. The crack of its cervical vertebrae snapping was loud and definitive. The beast went limp, sinking face-first back into the mud.

He forwarded his long hand toward the little girl and they instantly kept getting longer till it reached her. The hand got a hold of her long ponytail and picked her up using it. She screamed in pain and her friends tried their best to save her but they got no power in front of that monster. The monster walked away by taking that little princess with him while laughing loudly, without caring about her cries.

I could feel that none of my legs were on the ground anymore. They were somewhere else flying on the air and my hands around his neck clutching his nape tight. Is he carrying me? On his arms? I couldn’t believe what the monster did right now. He just picked me up and carried me on his arms. He could sometimes be so much unbelievable. No…he is unbelievable most of the times.

Every time the monster attacked— entire buildings disappeared. Then suddenly— the King leaped. Actually leaped. High into the air. His spear pierced the monster's chest. The creature screamed. The entire island shook. Then Peanut cheered. Immediately. "Go king!" Honestly? Everyone felt the same. Then the monster swatted the King away.

His focus is completely on me, and I sigh in relief when I notice Mindy and her mates escape. “Here, puppy, puppy,” I taunt the monster when it seems he is about to look their way, and I smile when my plan works. “Can you climb a tree, motherfucker?” I sneer, extending my claws and climbing the tree as fast as I can. The monster howls, nearly bursting my eardrums, and he storms the tree headfirst. He collides with the tree with a thunderous thud, and I must cling for dear life not to fall out.

As the monster reeled back, I swung my leg at its body, kicking it hard as it fell to the ground. Then, I jumped onto its shoulders, planting my feet firmly on either sid
