Her Forgotten Billionaire

"Anastasia! Get up now, will you?!"

A lady in her late twenties yelled at her roommate from outside her bedroom who is also known as her best friend.

It's a scene of every morning in this small, cheap yet cozy and warm apartment. Her best friend, Anastasia is not a morning person at all and every morning she has to go through a tiring process in order to make her best friend wake up.

"If you don't get up now then you will be late for your interview! Then your day will start going bad! Then you will be sad. Then you will cry. Then you will buy chocolate and waste some more money even after knowing we are at the shortage of that! So if you don't want any of those things to happen, get up now!" 

She kept on renting in a loud voice while sending prayers to God that may this girl wake up soon. She stood outside the room of her best friend while being at the edge of losing her patience. 

"ANAS-..." She was ready to start another set of warnings or threats.

"I AM UP! I am up!" 

The door of the room opened and a very beautiful woman stepped out. She was wearing dark blue jeans and matched it with a white shirt. She was wearing red high heels which matched with her dark red lipsticks. Her golden blonde hair which had beautiful black natural shades were competing with her ocean blue eyes. She was a fashion queen. She was giving off a beautiful smile which can brighten up anyone's mood. Just like it washed away her best friend's every ounce of anger.

"You woke up at last, ANASTASIA!" She sighed and looked at her best friend whom she loves like her own sister. 

In reply Anastasia gave off a larger smile than the one she was already wearing. 

"Of course, I did, Selena! I will not let anything ruin my mood or day today. This is going to be my day." She said with confidence while her blue eyes twinkled with her words.

"Amin!" Selena instantly sent a prayer to God to make her best friend's words come true.

"You will see anything that you rant about just a while ago will never come true. Not today at least. This is my day. Start of my new life!" Anastasia said while following behind Selena toward the dining room where Selena has prepared breakfast for both of them. 

"Okay, enough. Now have breakfast and run for the interview." Selena said and pushed her to sit down on the chair. 

"I am sorry, Lena. Out of everything that you said, one thing was true, which is I am really late and if I don't leave right now I will be a goner. So, bye!" Anastasia said and ran from the room after grabbing one apple and a protein bar with her on the way. 

"Hey, did you have your medicines?" Selena shouted behind her. 

"I did!" Anastasia shouted back while taking the keys of her third hand car and ready to walk out of the door in any second. 

"Wait! Did you take your anxiety pills?" Selena shouted back again while running toward the door.

"I did!" Anastasia replied but her confidence immediately shot down a little while remembering that she has to carry those pills with her everytime in order to survive mentally in this cruel world.

"Aww! Don't lose your confidence, my butterfly. Go and show them who you are. Best of luck for the interview!" Selena immediately boosted her confident back and she left after giving Selena a hug.

Anastasia has an interview in a big fashion company for the post of a fashion designer. She completed her degree in fashion designing six months ago. Even though she is twenty six years old now, the cause of completing her degree so late is an accident which changed her life forever. It changed her that life about which she doesn't remember anything. She had to start over everything but she didn't give up. 

She believes in her spirit that nothing can harm her as long as she is strong within herself. 

"I will not let anyone ruin this day for me!" Promising herself one last time, she started her car.

It’s a big event for the fashion world. The very famous fashion designer, Melissa Millar, known as the queen MM, is having her fancy designs exhibited by the top models of America. Melissa Millar is a twenty seven years old beautiful woman also known as the heartbreaker of the state. This famous fashion designer can top the look of the best model of the New York fashion industry. 

The event is a huge affair and no one here has time even to breathe soft until this event is over.The venue is getting crowded slowly by the early guests. The makeup artist team is busy getting the models ready for the show. Media are capturing every little piece of this show, to present on their Live channels and make the headline of their newspaper. 

While at some corner of the huge hall room, the main attraction of the show, the queen MM is almost having a heart attack and close to bite down her beautiful but fake manicured nails. There is no doubt on the fact that she has spended luxury doing those nails only.

"What do I do now?! This event is more important to me than my life, you get that?! I can not let this be a failure! You understand that!?" She shouted at the top of her voice and luckily the sounds made by the crowd mixed with the loud music hid her loud voice.

"Ma'am, you please calm down. We are contacting the best models available in the industry right now. We will get contacted with them soon." Her poor secretary tried to calm her down but it was useless. 

"What do you mean by you will get contacted soon, huh?! The event is going to start in thirty minutes. The showstopper must have her entry within one hour from now on and here you are saying that the supposed showstopper met with an accident. And you are unable to find her replacement yet! She still needs to get her make-up and hair done!" Melissa shouted at the poor secretary again who was at the verge of crying out loud.

"Ma'am, please calm down. I.. I…" She couldn't complete her sentence when Melissa took one intimidating step toward her, their noses were almost touching. Melissa got the benefit of height which made the situation worse for the old woman also known as her secretary.

"I don't care what you do and how you do that. Just remember, HE is sitting out there waiting for the show to start and hit the spotlight as usual. Not only HE is the sponsor of this show but the love of my life. If I see disappointment in HIS eyes because of you, remember it will be the last day of you working in your life. I don't care if you and your family have to die and rot on the road! Don't let me start with what HE is going to do to you after HE knows that it is all your fault!" Melissa spat at the poor secretary and walked away from there after giving the poor woman one last vicious glare.

The secretary dropped down on the floor while muffling her cries with the back of her hands. She very well knows what HE is going to do to her and her poor family if this event fails. HE has invested a lot of money into this event. HE absolutely hates loss in the business and at the same time hates the people who causes the loss. HE destroys that person in such a way that he or she will never be able to stand up on their feet again. 

"Such a vicious mouth for a pretty face!" Someone scoffed behind her and she immediately got up off the ground. She hurriedly wiped her tears and started to fumble with her phone to get back to work again till the last minute. 

"Hi, I am Anastasia. I am sorry I heard and saw what just happened here and I feel sorry for the way you were treated by her." Anastasia said while looking at the worried woman worriedly.

She didn't turn to look at Anastasia but seems like she wasn't going to leave without saying what she gotta say. 

"Please leave. I have a lot of work to do and I am already in deep trouble. Please don't waste my time anymore." She requested in a tired tone while continuously dialing each and every person who can help her at this moment. 

"Look. I know you are stressed and I just want to help. I am just beside the room. Let me know if you need any help." Anastasia said while looking at the woman who was constantly turning pale.

As if her words pissed the woman as she let out a hiss and looked at her to glare at her but as soon as her eyes landed on Anastasia she felt as if all her problems flew out of the window. A beautiful smile made its place on her lips as she looked at Anastasia with awe and admiration and with a little bit of jealousy too.

"What were you saying? You want to help me, huh?" She smirked at Anastasia while Anastasia immediately leaned a little back after seeing her sudden change of attitude. 

"Yeah..?" She said which sounded more like a question.

"Awesome! Then get ready to help me!" The woman exclaimed. 

"Why don't I get a good vibe out of it?!" Anastasia muttered under her breath as she eyed the over excited woman in front of her.
