I nodded, though my mind was spinning. A clean slate. Could we really just leave everything behind? Could I leave behind the memories of what happened to Radena? Could I walk away from the nightmares, the guilt, the horror of that night? Moving wouldn’t change the past, wouldn’t erase what I had seen, what I had experienced.
