Can we talk about the data mining on some of these free reading apps? I installed a popular one to read werewolf stories, and it asked for a crazy number of permissions—contacts, location, storage. I deleted it immediately. It's not worth it. Stick to the big, reputable platforms like Wattpad or Webnovel if you're going the app route. At least their business model is based on ads or in-app purchases for convenience, not selling your personal data to third parties. Free isn't really free if you're paying with your privacy.
