When he called out her name, Odessa’s lips quivered and her face squeezed as she cried out in pain. Kaiden began to panic as he had zero idea on how to console his mate. Every drop of tears that fell from her eyes was like a sharp stake driving into his heart. “My Queen. Tears left her eyes, rolling down her cheeks. Though from what the lycan king had said, nothing would have stopped him from making her his wife. Against her will, she found herself in this despicable union, without any control over the situation. Her heart broke only more as she thought of her life forward. Her future was gone. Not only that, but her happiness and dreams were all gone. There was nothing to look forward to anymore. She cupped her hand in her palms and burst into tears. The lycan king came in just then to meet her crying and he did not need to ask to know why. It churned his blood and anger rose. What was so bad about marrying him? Was he not trying his best?
