Too Late To Apologize, Mr. CEO

Too Late To Apologize, Mr. CEO

I ignored them all and called Claire. “Derek?” she answered, sounding surprised. “It’s late. Is everything okay?” "Everything's fine,” I said, surprised by how sincere I sounded. “I got the reservation. Tomorrow night at seven. Table for nine. I’m coming too.” “No way! I heard they were totally booked for the convention. What did you do? Bribe someone?” I looked back at the darkened windows of the restaurant. I thought about the wooden stool and the meditation stick. And the small child who’d thought it was funny to throw shrimp tails down the back of my coat.

I loved this book! It was hilarious! And did g drag on into oblivion. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again these authors with there drawn out 300-1000 chapter books could learn from authors like u!
Sidney Siqueira
The story starts off a bit rocky but then finds its rhythm; the turning point unfolds gradually. I suspect the author faced some personal issues toward the end, but she still delivered a proper conclusion. It’s better than many stories that drag on for 500 chapters of endless nonsense. Best wishes.

THROUGH THE WIND AND THE RAIN (ENGLISH)

THROUGH THE WIND AND THE RAIN (ENGLISH)

"Mr. Montemayor did book tickets. He’s already upstairs. With someone." Rome’s stomach twisted. So he really was there. With someone. A date, obviously. "You’re not on the guest list, but we have five more tickets available for purchase. Would you like to buy three?" "How much?" "Two thousand each." Rome gaped. What kind of event was happening up there? A private concert? "Take them. I’ll pay," Jiggy offered, already pulling out her Visa card. "You accept cards, right?" "Sorry, Ma’am," the receptionist said gently. "We only accept cash unless the booking was made online."

Fake vs Fated

Fake vs Fated

The line goes quiet before it starts ringing and a cheerful female answers, “Elegant Moon Spar and Salon, Deedree speaking.” “Good afternoon, Deedree. I was wondering if you have any openings in your pampering sessions for tomorrow?” “I do.” “Good. I would like to book Candace Remington in for a pamper session at around noon.” “All done. Candace Remington is now booked in for noon tomorrow.” “Thank you.” I hand up the phone, lean back in my chair and, with a smile on my lips, I open my private link. “Candace, baby. Come to my office, please.”
