I unlock the car and her and Kenzie get in the back. I drive off once we are all in. The car is silent until Kenzie starts giggling. It becomes louder each second until Adrienne joins and soon Jeremy. "You are a troublemaker." Kenzie says. "Hey. She was disrespecting the future Queen of werewolves. Ain't letting that shit slide." She says and I have a new found respect for her. "You guys wanna ditch the rest of the day?" I ask and everybody immediately agrees.

"This is Luna Selene. I need two pack enforcers at the Alpha residence immediately. The new housekeeper is being deliberately abusive." Within minutes, two burly pack guards arrived. They bowed respectfully to me. "Escort Ms. Cassie to the holding cell until Alpha Ethan returns. She has been deliberately neglectful and disrespectful to the Luna of this pack." When Ethan returned that evening, he found me sitting calmly in the living room instead of Cassie rushing to greet him. "Where's Cassie?" he asked, tension in his voice.
