Stella replied, bowing slightly. “What would you like as a reward?” Alex asked, his voice carrying across the room. Before Stella could respond, another elder spoke up, his voice loud and deliberate. “What if Stella were made the mate of our Alpha King? After all, he has not named anyone since the last incident.” The room fell silent for a moment before erupting into murmurs of agreement. “Yes, yes,” several voices said. Alex raised a hand, and the room fell quiet. “I think the decision of who becomes my mate is mine alone to make,” Alex said, his tone cold and final.

I said threw gritted teeth. “Again, revenge for what?!” Alpha Nik boomed pressing his Alpha command out. It wasn’t until just now that I realized that Derek had stepped out into the hall, and I heard him on his phone. “This bitch got everything and we got nothing! We don’t even have mates yet and she gets a mate and get’s to become a fuckin Queen?! It’s bullshit!” Ella answered.

He had this impact on people. He just smiled at me. I giggled. Adriana just saw her worst nightmare. She was fuming with anger. She wanted him at any cost. Clearly she will not give up. This was going to be so much fun. I smiled. " huh. You are rejecting me, a werewolf, daughter of an alpha, the best Queen for you, who can save your pack, all for this wicked human? She is so weak. She can't do anything for you. She is not even a werewolf. " she said with such hatred in her eyes. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Seeing two Elders championing for me made a small wave of relief wash over me. My heart lifted. I’ve never felt more hopeful, and I fought the urge not to smile. I drew in a slow breath, feeling the weight on my shoulders finally ease. “There cannot be a tie.” Alpha Saaki shook his undercut sandy-blond head, mindful of his tone. “It is not a tie,” Elder Victor contested. “Raina saw through the test and claimed the moonstone. That settles it.” “I'm absolutely against it. She cannot be our queen,” Alpha Wentz objected, careful not to sound harsh. “You forget that the Alphas are a force equal to the Council. You cannot simply overrule us. As long as we demand another queen, the matter will neve

he said, “ But you must never tell anyone about the mate bond. ” Tears swelled up in my eyes but I prevented them from falling down. What was I expecting? That he would accept me as his mate? The tension in the room thickened as the Alpha King’s piercing gaze bore into mine, as if waiting for my response. I took a deep breath and gathered my thoughts together. If keeping the mate bond a secret was what he wanted, then I would agree to it. After all, I had once been rejected. I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded. “ Okay, Your Majesty. ”

His presence comforts me, knowing that I have someone beside me to keep me calm and from ripping these hot-headed Alphas to shreds helps keep my emotions in check. “Maybe Isabella is a defect if her mate rejected her!” Someone shouts, and I turn to see Alpha Norman Croix of the Swift Fur pack in Quebec rise angrily from his seat. “Should we even be ruled by a Queen who was rejected?!” He continues, glaring at me with a glare of accusation, angering me further. A savage growl escapes my lips, my royal blood boiling and releasing the power to subdue these wolves. Many flinch away in fear, showing their neck in submission

And judging from the way he looked me over like I was a piece of ass and not his Alpha’s mate my assumption of him was not wrong. “Sorry for the delay everyone. Tuck and Mira this is my mate and your Luna, Kara Ravenfield, Alpha of the Ravenfield pack. Kara, this is Tuck, a pack warrior and Mira a nurse in the pack hospital. Since we’re here to perform a mate rejection ceremony I would like to know the reasons behind such a decision. Rejections aren’t a light matter among us, especially if a mate mark has already happened. Could you explain to us why you both want this?”

This is just the beginning. Slowly, slowly we will capture more and more land and one day we will be the rulers and possess the moonstone.!" Beta smiled, "amen... Gealach's Ahren has been quiet all these years and they have no alpha. Their heir has not made any appearance in the public and neither in the pack, they are alpha less and it will be easy to slaughter them." The alpha smiled as well and while they were enjoying their vodka, a sudden knock on the door took their attention, "come in." Alp

"So, without any further delays, we will perform the ceremony now… but first tell me princess Jayden, what shall be your title going forward? Luna Jayden or the Alpha Queen Jayden?” Nash’s father asked. I looked at the crowd, and I saw adoration and admiration there. And I knew, I cannot be a Luna because Luna is a title beneath the Alpha. And in our relationship, like my parents, I was an equal, if not more. So, I cleared my

“Who gave you permission?" “I.. don't need permission to leave," I forced out of my mouth as his hands on my neck tightened. I couldn't breathe. I tried to swat his hands away but he was so… so heavy. “You are my mate," he whispered. “You do not walk out on me" He released his hands, throwing me. My waist hit the edge of the table and I screamed out. I swallowed. “I, Freya Asher, reject you Thorne, Alpha of Ruinfang as my mate."
