Douglass accepted the challenge and looked back at Amethyst who had acted on an impulse and snatched the book from his hands. "There were two books — the book of Spells and the book of Prophecies. Why only this one?" Turning every page of the book, Amethyst investigated, narrowing her eyes at Douglass who never said anything else. Amethyst swiftly stopped turning the pages and stopped on one page that had her name written boldly at the top. Her eyes widened with unspeakable fear that attracted the attention of both Liam and Douglass. "M-my b…blood is needed for the…rebirth of the demon…?" She gasped and the book elegantly fell from her hands.

" He was shaking it like a hand fan, probably expecting the 'words' to tumble down if they were hidden.

That was all, but I had been wary of the knowing smile he had given me for a split second. "Yes." I muttered, waiting for him to leave before I opened the book. "That would be all." He bowed, leaving the room. The librarian wasn't an old man with a face covered in grey hairs. He was young, older than I was, but younger than the stereotype and definitely weirder. I scanned the book and realised the order of druids contained spells translated to English. These were too useful to be locked away and forgotten inside this dark, cold room. The book listed the spells numbered in ascending order. A few of them had symbols next to them and a how-to-use description attached to it.

He opened the door and in the room were books. Kallum stepped into the room and crouched when he picked up one of the books from the ground. Suddenly a spark rolled in between his fingers, he proceeded to flip through the pages of the book and when he stopped at one of the pages. Recognition came to him. Maddie had never noticed that there were so many books on that subject. She was shocked when Omem suddenly stood in front of her. ‘Are you coming, child?
