"I don't know yet," Sienna admitted. "Ask me in another month, or a year, or however long it takes to forget what three months of intensity feels like."
"I don't think you forget," Luca said. "I think you just learn to live with the memory. Learn to build around the wound instead of letting it define everything."
"Profound," Sienna said, echoing his earlier comment.
"Hopeful," Luca corrected. "I'm trying to be hopeful that wounds heal, that growth happens, that we both become something better than what we were."
