It moves slow, almost lazy, and I’m sure it won’t hit a single pin until it clears all of them. Ben turns back to Gee and raises a brow. “The only thing I’m not good at is nothing.” They laugh and high-five. I’m jealous—not of that, but of how easily they get along. Ben isn’t even Georgia’s type. Leo is, though she’ll deny it till death. Ben disappears again while we grab snacks, but he doesn’t go far. At least that's what Kendricks said when he and several visiting military engineers were enjoying an evening drink out on the large deck. They'd been amazed by the display cases and what they contained and equally thrilled by the jungle gym he'd designed for his kids. The deck just took their breath away. They'd been sharing stories for a couple of hours when Ben heard the chirp of the intercom system he'd installed. "Ben?" Tina said from the speaker. "Yes?" he called out as it was voice activated once engaged at one end.

He towers over her, which is not a hard thing to do being 6’5. Ben is one of our warriors, a gamma through and through.

He bent down, however, picked up a piece of metal on the floor, and studied it. It wasn't like every normal metal, it had this roughness all about it. Looking at the rough surface where it had broken, there was a brilliant purple glow in it which shone dimly for some seconds before going completely dark.

Hopefully no one is noticing. Ren looks up at me, that cool icy blue eye on the left side is unnerving as ever. A part of me has a feeling those strange eyes of him allude to his secret. “Brielle, what’s your opinion on this?” Ren ask. “Should we end Alpha meetings?”

Ben was a very good looking young man, he had dark blonde hair and those amazing blue eyes that could turn to ice when he chose. He was only 24 but had been in the Israeli Special forces since he was sixteen. He had risen through the ranks rapidly, a natural leader he had acquitted himself in the field time and again. He had earned his countries highest honours by the time was 21 and retired from the service at the age of 22 after taking the full force of a bomb to save his men. He had nearly died but thanks to medical sci
