She had always been drawn to danger, but this was different. This was the ultimate forbidden romance, and she didn't know if she was ready for it. Her feet were crossed behind her, moving from side to side as the rest of her body moved to whatever tune was playing in her mind. I found myself constantly distracted by her movements. The emails were going unanswered while she was reading one of those sex books she’d found in one of the rooms. "Whatever happened to love each other first then... then doing the deed after. Is everyone after physical contact only these days? What about getting to know each other first? Chivalry? Romantic date?" I sighed and stopped spinning, facing my laptop and visiting a bookstore's site to see what books sell. Ah, of course, my book wouldn't be in the top 10, and I didn't hope so; what's staring back at me is the top 10 best-selling books for the week, where five of ten are Erotic Romance books. "And I thought my company wouldn't be like other companies who are after profit; I was wrong. Then again, business is business."

Or that they at least, got the wrong impression of her. “They think I don’t like romance?” She asked like there was someone else in the room with her. “Well, I bet they’ve never even messed around with any guy before. They’ve probably never even gotten kissed by a hot guy before and I’m the unromantic one?” “Otherwise they wouldn’t shut up about it. I would have heard stories about it”. “I’ll show them both that I’m not what they think of me”. “I’ll find a hot guy, make out with him and have sex with him”.

Nora brought white roses when she visited me in the hospital. She fumbled with the flowers, accidentally tipping over the vase and spilling water everywhere. "Oh, no. I'm so sorry, Natalie," she babbled, scrambling to clean up the mess. "I didn't mean to do that." "It's fine," I said, even though nothing really was. She sat down, nervously fiddling with the edge of her skirt. It was a fancy Chanel, a present from Francis, but I was the one who had picked it out. "Natalie, have you and Francis been at it again?"

she chirped, clicking play. As the story unfolded, with its sweeping landscapes and tense romantic dialogue, she felt herself being drawn in. Then came the first intimate scene. It was artfully shot, but raw and passionate. A slow, warm flush began to spread through her body, a familiar ache of arousal coiling deep in her belly.

She sounded frantic and desperate, like she'd been waiting her entire existence for this exact moment. "THAT'S OUR MATE!" My eyes went wide and snapped up to look at Kael's face. At Nathan's face, at whoever this was standing in front of me touching my hair like I was something precious. The feeling washing over me was unmistakable, i'd heard other wolves describe it a hundred times. The pull in your chest like an invisible rope tying you to another person, the overwhelming need to be close to them, to touch them, to never let them go, the certainty deep in your bones that this person was meant for you and you were meant for them.

The robe slid from my shoulders with a whisper and pooled at my feet, leaving me bare beneath his hungry gaze. “You just didn’t see me,” I whispered, pulling him into another heated kiss, unwilling to let a single second slip away. His lips claimed mine with urgency. He sucked gently on my lower lip while I nipped at his upper, parting for him. Our tongues tangled, hot and reckless, igniting sparks that raced through my veins. His hand slid firmly around my waist, drawing me flush against his body until there was no space left between us. The kiss deepened, consuming, as if neither of us could get enough.

She said. "Come on this is not a marriage proposal, do you think my marriage proposal will be as lame as this? I can be very romantic when I want to be you know." I said and she laughed. "You? Romantic? Okay tell me, how will your marriage proposal be?" She asked. "You'll only get to find out if you accept to date me now so do you?" I asked. "I told you so." She said. "What?" "I told you back then remember? You said you weren't ever going to fall in love, I told you that you will and I'll be here to say I told you so when that happens." She said and I laughed.
