Mridula's POV 08:35AM IST 12B, Antilia Altamount Road, Cumballa Hill South Mumbai Gasping for breath like a dying fish, I sat on the floor of our gym with a thud. Hundred squats with kettlebell, jump rope, pull-ups, elliptical and pilates all in one day is never easy!! I controlled my breaths and got up with my almost aching legs. I stumbled my ways towards upstairs to my room. But a voice stopped me.

Her nervous face seemed relieved. After seeing it, I started eating again. While chewing the juicy steak in my mouth, I suddenly remembered the girl with a mask. The one and only Magda. I stopped eating and leaned my back on my seat. I remembered that Magda is living in the village where Angela lives. The village is small so it's possible she knew the mystery woman. "Angela..." I called out. She looked at me and stopped eating. "Yes, Clark?" she asked. I took a deep breath and released it slowly.

"Let's give it up... to the Herald of Dexo Fernia, the shadow assassin! The daughter of Hikaris himself… VERONICA!" Chest out, shoulders back, I walked out of the dark and turned my gaze to every corner of the coliseum, and with a devilish grin on my lips, I raised my weapon and they screamed my name… just how I want them to. "And her challenger..." the announcer paused for a while, I crossed my arms and everyone went silent, patiently waiting until, "another daughter of Hikaris, the Mistress of Dexo Fernia, Elspeth!"

“That depends.” “Depends on what?” “If I can see you again?” It's like my body and mind have their own thoughts. My body is drawn to him and screaming for more of his touch. My mind is screaming at me to get a grip, what can you offer him, someone, so broken that her family cannot even love her, how will he possibly love someone like you. Snapping out of my thoughts. I know I'm not going to win this battle. “My name is Mia, fine whatever you want. Please let go of me. I already wasted enough time.”

Chander's sudden interruption brought her back. "Miss Hila, let me help you take care of the other eleven." She didn't feel light headed or drunk anymore. "Why would you help me? You are in no position to gain anything from their deaths and if you are, just shut it and consider yourself lucky that your competition just got lower." She took off the robe and was left covered by a tiny sleeveless navy blue dress that barely covered even half her thighs. The pair of linen dolphin shorts of the same color loosely swayed as she moved towards him.

Dmitry raised an eyebrow at me and I answered him with a confused shrug. ‘Can you walk with her for a bit?’ I asked Micha. ‘I guess…’ he replied, shifting uncomfortably. ‘What’s wrong with you lately, Mishka?’ I eyed him suspiciously. He avoided my eye but shrugged. ‘Nothing’ he mumbled. I was about to ask him something else but Dmitry called me over. I ran harder than I had in a while, clearing my mind, and focusing on my timing. I only had about 2 and a half weeks until training started and I was determined to be ready for it.

The girl answered and turned to walk away. “Wait… I know you!” Mishka stopped and the girl’s deep blue eyes turned to her. “Lia Smith!!” Mishka exclaimed and Lia’s face lost all colour. “Famous model, right?” She continued, and Lia draws her eyebrows together. “I am sorry I heard about your accident,” Mishka said as she looked at the scar on her forehead. “Are you alright now?” “Mind in your own business, woman!” Lia sneered and quickly turned to walk away while Mishka pouted, looking at her retrieving figure.

What’s wrong with her loving Marl? “H-no, right! Stop teasing, Akemi! You’re not funny!” “Oh, Michaela Reyes has a secret crush on the Architect!” I teased her more. Her eyes reddened and moistened. “Stop it, Akemi! You’re only returning the favor, because you made fun of me about Engineer RD yesterday!” “Mrs. Tanya Michaela Reyes–Montenegro. It sounds so good on my ears.”
