I asked, puffing more smoke. “Because it’s time and they’re back.” He replied, and we began to talk. We talked about some important matters before we stepped out to handle some really important business. Things really didn’t go as planned, so I got home pissed and ready to just take a shower and go chill in the club. I entered the sitting room, and the sight that greeted me was that of Jade and my dog Bluey. My pet Bluey is a female dog, and Jade’s hairbrush had somehow manage to get close to where she was sitting. Jade looked so frightened as she tried to pick up her hairbrush, but Bluey wasn’t having it.

"The ring was for Red's mom. The last time we visited her, she'd painted her nails blue" It clicked. Red's mum was dead. My heart broke at the sound of Red throwing up in the other bathroom. Lee groaned and slid down the wall, rubbing his eyes. He was crying quietly. Instantly, I felt the tears well up my eyes. What sort of monster does such a thing?

I was caught off guard as the kids ignored Rem’s Alpha voice and bounded over to him with excitement and no regard for their lives, apparently! The youngest grabbed Rem’s hair and held it up for the others to see. “I told you it was blue! It was dark last night, but I knew it!” He said beaming with a bright smile. The eldest kid folded his arms and scoffed, “it’s not natural! He obviously dyed it!” “Why would he kill his hair?” The younger asked, confused, still holding Rem’s hair as he inspected it for ‘death’. “No, no,” the middle-aged one chimed in, “it means to make it a different colour! " Enolla screamed, connecting Kat and Ophelia on a video call on her laptop as she prepared for school. "What?, You aren't going to school?" Kat asked. Enolla scre,amed again.

I knew what I was feeling was the mate bond pulling me to her. “Shit, I have to go!” I yelled to my beta. I raced out the packhouse and to my car. I had to be with her right now. I hope she isn’t awake for this. We haven’t explained anything to her about what she is. She is a werewolf just like everyone in our town. We had to keep it from her because she is special. A Blue Moon wolf said to unify our world under one alpha. After a few minutes, I was in front of her house. The moment I touched the doorknob the door flew open revealing her father David just past it. Suddenly a blue light filled the house. We all looked at each other wondering what had happened.

She sighed heavily as she flung her head back in frustration “I just….” “I know you don’t trust her or want to and that’s fine, but remember Blue moon isn’t just known for its strong warriors, it’s also known for the mercy we offer where its due, and I feel Zara’s due to be shown mercy at this point” I tried to persuade her softly, just so she could feel a little more at ease with Zara being out there. “Ok, I’ll give her time, but I’ll never fully trust her, even if she does prove she’s not going to do anything”

A slow smile spread across Bluey’s face as she showed the message to Pistol. “Well, well,” Pistol drawled, leaning back in her chair with a satisfied look. “Looks like our little bird’s cage just got a bit smaller.” Bluey chuckled, tapping the screen of her phone thoughtfully. “Seems like someone wants us to pay April a visit. And who are we to disappoint?” Pistol’s eyes glinted with mischief. “What’s the plan, Bluey? We gonna pay her a nice, friendly visit?” Bluey shrugged, though her expression suggested anything but friendliness. “We’ll see. Maybe just a reminder that we haven’t forgotten about her.
