I was pale because I was already carrying Lucian's pup, and because our bond was fraying, I didn't have the Alpha energy to sustain it. But as a healer, I knew Moon-Sere was incredibly potent. He closed his eyes, fighting a losing battle against my touch, before opening them, a dark, wickedly cheeky glint returning to his eyes. "One more night," he growled, a slow, predatory smirk spreading across his lips. "But don't say I didn't warn you, sweetheart. Fae magic is exceptionally volatile under a full moon—just like a werewolf's. And honestly? My dick might actually be magic under a full moon, too. You sure you can handle a prince's full power?" He bowed before me as a way of greeting me before blessing me with the details of what we had successfully won this time.
