The Fighter's Obsession

The Fighter's Obsession

It was that dangerous kind of stillness when your brain catches up, but your heart’s too stunned to move. Cassian Draven. Standing in the center of the cage like a god made of blood and violence. Arms raised. Knuckles split. Sweat trickling down the curve of his abs like liquid sin, glinting under the spotlight. He roared into the chaos, and the crowd roared back—drunk on his rage, his beauty, his madness. My ex. The man who once made me forget every rule I ever lived by. The one I never should’ve touched, but couldn’t stop touching.

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

Tristan says. My heart leaps into my throat. Immediately I wish he hadn’t told me. I wish I hadn’t asked. We’d see videos sometimes, back home, of gruesome fights filmed somewhere underground in a mysterious Colosseum. Sometimes the fights were between gladiators. Other times, one gladiator against a swarm of unarmed slaves. Other times still, unarmed slaves against wild animals. Fear grips tightly at my throat. I suppose it’s not a death sentence. Theoretically I could survive somehow. But the odds are stacked against me – especially as someone without a wolf.

This story is SO GOOD. It’s a great exploration of a toxic turned wholesome relationship. The main characters seem kind of one dimensional at first, but the story explores their multifaceted personalities so well and crafts a truly believable romance out of an insane premise. Could not put it down.

This is a really amazing book; I always wish the chapters were longer because it’s so hard to get tickets… but I guess that just means it’s an even better book for making it so hard to stop reading. I honestly wish It could just go on forever and the author keeps publishing chapters. Wonderful read!

The Faye Queen

The Faye Queen

And the crowd cheered. Tears rose in my eyes. "The gladiatorial games originated in ancient Rome. The gladiators were usually slaves, criminals, or prisoners of war. Occasionally, the gladiators were able to fight for their freedom. Criminals who were sentenced to death were sometimes thrown into the arena unarmed to serve their sentence. Some people, including women, actually volunteered to be gladiators." Nik explained, his voice gentle. "Orlando was there and had the idea to replicate it. This is eradicated from the human world but it's still the most famous means of amusement in the vampire world."

RAGING FLAME

RAGING FLAME

On the other side of the horizon, The mysterious man, The night in Italy was colder than usual, a sharp contrast to the heat of my rage. The moment I learned Amira had defied my warnings and gone to see Ryan, I felt the familiar surge of anger coursing through my veins, the kind that made me feel alive, made me feel in control. I had warned her, threatened her, yet she still defied me. Her stubbornness would be her downfall, but not yet. No, I wasn’t ready to let her go that easily.

And in this world, looks and status would win every time. The comments came in fast. [What's going on, Nicole? Did someone copy your code?] [Tell your parents right now. Let the dean handle it and kick that cheater out of school!] [Plagiarizers like that are the shame of Arkenville University. Right before the competition, too? That's just disgusting.] As I read their words, I felt as if I was being dragged back into my past life—the bullying, the hate, and the endless comments that ripped me apart.

That seemed to dissolve whatever protests remained as the girl simply whimpered. "No, Sir, please fuck me. I'll behave." Her moans resumed, and his thrusts picked up tempo, though that was barely possible. At the same time, Anaria noticed with interest how Gorlann didn't seem offended by Scar-Arm's overly familiar attitude. As leader of a war-band, Gorlann was unlike any man she had read about in the annals of Imperium war-tales or heard about in the battle-songs. Whereas the Imperium valued hierarchy, order, and formal obedience above all else, these gladiators were an egalitarian lot at ease with chaos; even Gorlann, Anaria marveled, acted like just one warrior among many, spoken to as cas

Rise of the Supreme One

Rise of the Supreme One

He didn’t come here to admire his opponent; he came for a fight. Kalen was not ready to cower by slowing the pace of the fight either, he was ready to fight a bloody and fast-paced fight with this guy. He advanced forward also, as they sprinted to meet each other. The spectator’s blood pressure rose on seeing this, becoming hot and hyper-active as some of them started jumping, chanting their favorite gladiators. Bam!! They quickly met as the Emperor swiftly stabbed forward with his spear. The air parted forcefully to herald the coming of the spear, as it cleaved away every air resistance like it was dust.

Hold Me Tight, Alpha

Hold Me Tight, Alpha

The Alpha asked. Even at the lingering death only a few slaughters away, the werewolf that managed to drag May to the colosseum was ever willing to still go and check what had caused the ruckus, per his Alpha’s request. “Sir, there’s a rogue defeating all the gladiators.” He said. The sounds of naked people dying had now become the background noise as the Alpha himself, and the werewolf he sent now arched against the barrier of the viewing unto the scene that played out down where the gladiators were supposed to be fighting.
