The creature’s glowing red eyes locked onto me, and I felt a pulse of searing pain from my mark. “Behold,” the rogue leader said, his voice echoing with a chilling authority. “The Weapon of Chaos. Designed to break the bonds that chain us, to destroy those who would seek to control our kind.” The creature let out a guttural roar, the sound tearing through the air and shaking the very foundation of the fortress. Its massive, clawed hands reached out, and every instinct in me screamed to run. “Daniel, we need to get out of here,” Rigel barked, stepping in front of me.
