Chapter 46: A Desperate Gamble The cavern held its breath as Evie, a beacon of chaotic energy, charged towards the colossal beast. The creature, its massive form momentarily stunned by the sudden burst of light, turned its fiery gaze upon her. Time seemed to slow down. Every tremor of the beast's muscles, every flicker of its glowing eyes, was etched into Evie's mind. With a desperate cry, she unleashed a torrent of chaotic energy, a swirling vortex of blue light aimed directly at the creature's face.

she continued, sweeping at the leaves with her feet. "Ever effort I make to get out, goes horribly wrong," she grumbled. Suddenly her foot hit something hard. She took a step forward brushing away more of the leaves, when she realized what it was. Trix's eyes widened in shock as she glanced at Tristan. "Duck," she yelled as a 7ft creature entered the clearing, swinging a huge bat the size of a human leg. It may have even been one. Tristan moved out the giants way just in time as the bat, hit the ground with a bang. Trix swore she felt it shake. She scrambled to her feet and rushed to Tristan's side. Suddenly a smaller one ran from beyond the treeline.

He said that made me pout. I can still hear Chaos cursing, he called us last night asking for an update if Peace is fine or if we already had her but when we said ‘Not yet’ he started to transform to a cursing machine and I even hear vases being destroyed on the background and he warn us that if something bad happen to Peace he will bury alive or even skin us alive. Wakely turned away from the screen and faced Cora completely. “I’m to believe that a bunch of recently deceased people are coming back as zombies, and they don’t give a reason why. I want the back story dammit. I want to know if someone fucked up at a lab and accidentally spilled some sort of chemical that raised them. “That I could believe. But just having the dead rise…it’s not believable. I want the damn backstory. Not just randomness.” Wakley huffed and turned back to the screen.

he coughed slightly before opening his eyes, blood dripping slowly from his wound. Damien looked from the clone to Nathan sitting on the chair. There were two Nathans and then Lauren that he thought were dead. “What kind of sick game is this!” he yelled making the clone turn his attention back to him. The clone stood in the middle of the three “Oh, it’s a game that just properly begun” he clapped his hands in excitement “I’ve been waiting for this part since I started all this, we can’t let Nathan have all the fun, can we?”

I was not failing my pack. My eyes glowed darkly and I let my wolf take control. The power surged in me and I hauled before I fell. My wolf Shadow landed with a thud on its paws. My wolf was unhinged and out for her blood. Her wavering cause madness from the pack. Her hold on them was broken. She stumbled back and whispered, but my wolf would not stop.

I kissed her forehead and gave Xavier a small smile before walking towards the counter to pay the bill. "You know we don't bite right, I mean Hannah does sometimes but other than that we are totally harmless," I heard his deep sexy voice behind me and I couldn't help but laugh. "Yes. Please, please join us. Dad promised me that we are going to see the fish from 'Finding Dory'," she spoke with so much excitement. Awww! I didn't want to turn them down again and make her sad. "Come on, it will be fun," he added and I sighed, giving in finally.
