Sweat builds on my forehead as I try to control what I'm seeing. I'm flashed with woods, forests, a highway. Images of a town filled with lots of houses and people. Flashes of Rennet and different white-haired people. I scream as my mind is bombarded by what's being thrown at me. A castle on a hill. A light on the 5th floor. A vision from a stage. Fire. Destruction. Sammy standing in the middle of thousands of white wolves drooling and growling while she laughs evilly. Then darkness. My breathing starts to calm. My head starts to hurt a little less.

Five minutes later, everyone sat in the living room. Raymond occupied one end of the sofa. Marilyn sat beside him. Naomi and Sia sat opposite them.

Jade pressed her hand against my mouth, trying not to scream while hot tears pricked her eyes. His large hand reached up and plucked the scissors out, letting them dangle from his fingers.
