I snatched a doily off of the side table and tried to wrap my arm but it soaked with blood instantly. Hashem was slowly getting to his feet and I turned to face him. “You are a traitor and you will die a coward’s death,” I said, in a whisper but loud enough for him to hear. I reached for my shard as he lunged toward me with a piece of glass. I was just barely able to move and he tried again to swipe at me, this time he connected and got my side. FUCK! I was going to pass out soon, it was too much. Blood, there was blood everywhere. The yelling, the voices and the footsteps were everywhere now, close and I heard the voices yelling in English.

Raverine smirked. “You brought your dogs…” Raverine mocked. Calil stopped from taking another step. “Be careful, they like to hunt birds.” Before Raverine could even make a reply, the two vampires swiftly left him in blues and bruises. It was as though the shadow within the alley moved and attacked Raverine before he could blink. That’s the reason why these kinds of vampires are called shadow vampires – they become one with the shadows. Raverine coughed after his body took the blow and held the wall for support.
