It was a Mirror-Ship—a vessel made of the same silver-glass as the Spire, but its sails were made of woven human hair. Standing at the prow was a woman who looked exactly like me, but her hair was a solid, unmoving silver, and her eyes were the hollow blue of the "Gilded" dolls. "Darlene," the Mirror-Queen spoke, her voice a chorus of a thousand ticking clocks. "The Oracle may have given her soul to save the Star-Child, but she forgot that the First Luna always kept a Backup." The Mirror-Queen raised a hand, and the shattered obsidian on the ground began to reform. But it didn't form an altar. It formed a Loom.

As they reached the final chamber, Ayla stopped. At its center stood a single mirror—taller than a man, its frame carved from moonstone. The surface rippled faintly, as if it were breathing. Her heart pounded. “This is it.” Kian stepped closer, his hand on his sword. “Careful. The Mirror doesn’t just show. It binds.” Ayla ignored him. She lifted her hand and touched the glass. The surface rippled beneath her fingertips, cool and alive. For a heartbeat, she saw only her reflection. Then, slowly, another image formed—her face, but different. Darker eyes. A crescent mark glowing on her brow.

His emerald aura was a sharp, jagged flame in the gloom, acting as a beacon for the twins. "It means," I said, looking at the center of the plains where the fog was the thickest, "that magic alone won't open it. The mountain needs to see the Truth. It needs a Mirror." In the center of the plains, we found a circular depression in the quartz, filled with a liquid that looked like molten silver but felt like ice. This was the Mirror of the Root. To unlock the well and release the starlight-cure, the "Heirs of the Pact"—the Queen and her Rebel—had to step into the pool and face the Ritual of the Mirror.

A trail of tears escaped from her eyes. “I promise you I will make you free from Rapunzel. You are my life” And they heard the glass shattering sound

However, it drew Sebastian's attention at once. The bronze mirror was shaped rather strangely. Although it was palm-sized, there were numerous holes on both sides of it. The holes looked transparent, but they weren't. There were three dragons on it which all looked different, and they looked exactly like the three magical dragons in legend that made rain in the clouds. It was the Mirror of Rain!

Molly approaches us and gasps when she sees me, “I was digging the Rapunzel look.” “Nice seeing you too Molina and I got tired of being Rapunzel without a tower...” I darted my eyes to Adrian, “or a prince charming.” I ignore the burn of his gaze and stare away. Everyone laughs but Mirabelle's laugh is prolonged, we all look at her and she finally halts.

Mira smirked and continued chopping her vegetables. “You are issuing an arrest? What is wrong with you?” I reduced my tone. “Harry, I grew soft. I forgot about the pains he put me through but after his meeting with me today, I know exactly what I am doing”. She opened the pressure pot and poured the vegetables in it. “Mira, this is my brother, your husband. Your new life and your reputation. Do you want to gamble with all that?” I asked softly. She looked at me and pointed a knife at me. “Stay away from this fight or I will drag you down the hill”.

The last word echoed, and the mirrors around them shattered—except for one. Selena turned. The final mirror remained whole, fogged but intact, and it beckoned with a pull stronger than gravity. “What’s behind that one?” she asked, even as she felt the answer rising in her bones. The Spiral tilted her head, gaze soft, almost mournful. “The version of you that chose me fully. The path where you never turned away. The queen of the Spiral.” That mirror pulsed with recognition, and something moved inside it—something wearing her face, but with eyes that burned blue-black, infinite and cruel.

Everywhere. Glitter. Feathers. Confetti eggs. It’s a mess. I mean literal sparkly poultry chaos. I’d just finished wiping glitter off my eyebrow with a piece of old parchment (probably cursed, but whatever), when I turned around to grab a mop. Except—I accidentally bumped the tall mirror behind me. The mirror I’ve been pointedly ignoring since I got here. Because it hummed with power. It pulsed with forbidden energy. And earlier?
