When Arrows Fly
Aeon scratched his neck and shake his head, eyes wide, “Look at that! She really is your mother.”
I gawked, watching as the liquid inside the vial swirled, gleaming gold. Aeon takes it from the air while I turned to my mother as she slowly braids her hair, singing softly.
“Somewhere over the rainbow,” She noticed me looking at her and so Emily waves her hand, “Go on, you know the lyrics, Crimsyn. Sing with me.”
I bit my lip and continue her song, “-way up high.” I whispered, my voice quivering as I took her hand on mine and kissed it, singing, “There’s a place that I’ve heard of once on a lullaby.”
