Noah Rapunzel and I kept caressing one another until she fell asleep. On the other hand, I couldn’t sleep. What she had told me today and what I had witnessed with her mother made me start looking at the situation with another mindset. The princess of our land was said to be very beautiful before she got kidnapped by an old wicked witch and ever since then, no one had been able to see her. The princess had magical healing powers too and all who touched her found this healing. The people of the town, celebrated her birthday every year and that was why candles were lit up in the sky to appease her innocent soul.

Rapunzel ran her fingers over the braid that hung over her shoulder. “It is a lot of hair,” Liam agreed. “We could cut it off at your feet and it still would be very long.” “And hair grows back,” I added. Rapunzel looked at Liam. “It’s magical,” she told him uncertainly. “Cutting it might not be a good idea.” “Can it not be cut?” I asked her frowning. “Does it blunt blades?” “Oh no,” she shook her head. “Gerveine cuts it all the time, but cutting it causes it to grow. You take a foot, and it grows two. Why else do you think it’s so long? This is more than the growth possible in nineteen years of life.”

“What were you thinking? Rapunzel? Really? Hiding out in a tower like some lost fairytale?” Don laughed and began to circle him, with his hands clasped behind his back. “You mock it now, but I know exactly what I’m doing. A tower painted in pink and purple, gold-trimmed mirrors, soft lights… one might think it belonged to a woman obsessed with princesses. Maybe even one who cried over Rapunzel.”

The Red Moon day arrived but this time my family, the creature of full moon weren't happy. The occasion of Red Moon day came in every 3 years and that time when the moon shine upon us we all feel powerful than ever. Every wolf life depend upon it's pack and tribe so that particular day when the moon was at its peak every wolf unconsciously shape-shifts to their natural worm because wolf are most powerful at its animal form. I ran my finger from the root of her hair, the root of her hair... is red? Was her true hair color red? Why would she cover it up with black? Not that it didn’t look beautiful, but I imagined that red hair would better suit her fair complexion.

I raised a brow not ready to start a battle this early, “it’s a pleasure to meet you to, mother Gothel.” Her brows creased in solid anger but held out a forced smile, she let out a wicked sigh heading to the cushion, “oh... Rapunzel, why didn’t you lay down your hair? I heard your knight in shining armor displayed a dramatic stunt while trying to help you and now you have the guts to lay down in bed like he didn’t just risk his life for you.” Her tone became harsher each minute words escaped her mouth, but I wasn’t going to let her have the last laugh.

"Tell me what you did today at school." her mother asked taking a shopping cart "I drew pictures of Cinderella and I read Cinderella and Rapunzel." she happily told her mother as they strolled along "I accidentally colored Rapunzel's hair brown when it should be gold but she still looks pretty." Her mother chuckled as she placed a few items in the cart. "You like Cinderella and Rapunzel?" her mother asked
