Chapter 24 Lila on the other hand, had my late mother’s soft peaceful hazel eyes and sun-coloured hair which seemed to glow in the light. Her hair keeps growing longer by the day which has made me give her the nickname Rapunzel – after her favourite cartoon character. I said. “I don’t want your introduction—the keys!!” She swung the pan in front of me. I raised both hands in surrender. “Wow, calm down, Rapunzel!” “I am NOT Rapunzel!” she snapped. I tilted my head. “…You climbed out of a situation you didn’t understand. Pan in hand. Screaming at a man you don’t even know.” She blinked. “I’m not a Disney princess!” “You are to me,” I said simply and stepped closer.

She put him on the couch and tickled him. “No!” Liam giggled. “Stop..” She tickled him some more. “Will you let mummy brush your hair?” She asked but he shook his head. “Welcome to tickle town!” “Argh…” Liam giggled. Xavier watched in silence from behind. The two boys were already dressed in pyjamas, including Jade. Her hair was in a bun at the top of her head. “How about now?” She asked again. “Fine.” He laughed and gave her the brush.

I raised a brow not ready to start a battle this early, “it’s a pleasure to meet you to, mother Gothel.” Her brows creased in solid anger but held out a forced smile, she let out a wicked sigh heading to the cushion, “oh... Rapunzel, why didn’t you lay down your hair? I heard your knight in shining armor displayed a dramatic stunt while trying to help you and now you have the guts to lay down in bed like he didn’t just risk his life for you.” Her tone became harsher each minute words escaped her mouth, but I wasn’t going to let her have the last laugh.

I spoke between grumblers. That story was one of the ones I hated the most and my father laughed. "So... Rapunzel? Ah..., but it’s in the tower and not in the forest..." he turned and turned the pages "has John and Mary..." "They’re like the little hat!" "John and the beanstalk?" "Silly" I mumbled. "Little golden curls, huh?" "Bears don’t talk!" "Peter Pan?" "He scares me..." "How about... the princess and the frog?" "Silly. No princess would kiss a frog."

I helped him remove all the leaves and dirt in his hair and on his clothes furiously until he was clean. "I'm sorry I scared you, Princess. Come on. That was really fun, right?" "Fun for you!" I grumbled. "I can make you laugh in a second. I know your tickle spot after all," he crooned mischievously before attacking me with his tickles suddenly. I couldn't resist laughing. He held me really close to him, tickling me over and over again, making sure I didn't escape. He assaulted me with tickles, making me laugh until it made my stomach hurt.

Rapunzel ‘Are you for real?’ The teenagers laughed loudly, ‘I mean. Fuck, your parents actually called you that?’ The pretty blonde girl glared at them, she had faced this reaction all her life and she was sick of it, ‘Yes they did and you know why they did?’ She snapped back at the bully, The other girl smirked, ‘Let me guess, because you are Daddy’s little Princess?’ Her little gang laughed at her sarcasm, but Zella didn’t instead she hit the bully hard her small fist catching her under her ribs knocking the air from her lungs and sending her reeling back into her friends. Zella stood over her and poked her in the chest,

answered the girl with a bright smile. "Oh, yeah? I think there's one now crawling up your hair." he mused pointing to her head. "What?" Clara asked before noticing the black object crawling upon her head. An ear-splitting scream erupted from her lips at the realization making her bolt out of her seat and throw her head around to remove the thing while the prince only laughed at her idiotic behavior. The toy spider fell on the table separating them and tears burst out from her eyes in the realization that she'd been pranked for the prince's amusement. She looked at him with a betrayed expression on the brink of crying.

We move into the town and as we continued to go deeper, we met so many different people and we introduced ourselves as a young couple who were trying to settle down, and lucky enough for us, a young woman, around her thirties, happened to cross our paths and she told us that we could stay in spare apartment till we got our place. I couldn't thank her enough, and she said we looked cute together, she treated us really nicely and even gave us some food too. Ralph was exhausted and I told him to take a shower while I prepared something for us to eat. I felt like a wife as I stirred some peas and vegetables and I just couldn't stop myself from daydreaming, I could be his wife someday. I giggled
