I tried to get the image of him on top of Kari out of my head, but her screams were still there.
“Hey, man, this is a bit weird meeting at midnight at the Point. It feels like something from a horror movie,” he said, as we walked toward each other. I didn’t say anything as I reached him, and swung my fist into the side of his face. He went down but he was up again quickly.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Kai?” he yelled at me.
“You’re one of them!” I yelled at him, and punched him again in his side. He grabbed me, and we went down to the ground. We were grappling on the ground, and his foot landed squarely on my chest as he kicked me away.
