The Rogue Queen’s Vengeance
He went down hard, blood pooling beneath him in the red light.
“Raven!” I screamed, tearing my hand from the Heartstone.
The cavern shook harder. Stones fell, blocking the entrance. Murals cracked and crumbled, erasing the queens’ histories.
I ran to Raven’s side, hands glowing silver as I pressed them to his wound. But the power felt strange, flickering between silver and red, between healing and destruction.
“No, no, no,” I murmured, “Don’t you dare die Raven. Not yet. Not like this. Not when I still need answers.”
