Dimitri responded glancing at the clock. We'd just taken the exit to Billings. Dimitri navigated the foreign streets effortlessly, and before long we were parking in the lot of a hotel situated in a bustling part of downtown. There were a couple of casinos across the street, and there was a Starbucks attached to the hotel. This seemed like a good place for Strigoi to go about hunting. The late-night casinos would overlap the early morning coffee goers. "How secure is this place?" I asked hesitantly, not allowing Christian or Lissa out of the car until I knew just what we were getting into.

XXX "Another two kills reported, government officials from PWD." Shivaay grunted as Ali and he drove towards the crime scene, for the instant stuck, because of the traffic signal. Ali floored the accelerator as the signal turned green and took a swift turn towards the outskirts of the city where the old abandoned building stood. The crime scene of two murders, a work of Kali. Shivaay pushed up the caution tape over his head and looked at the white outline on the concrete near the upside down turned table. The dry pool of deep red stained the concrete giving off the foul smell, mixed with the strong stench of alcohol and urine.

She was not surprised. Dylan drove into the streets of one of the most unlawful parts of the country, where there had recently been a gang war. He looked outside his window as his driver drove him there, observing the several litters on the ground and how dirty the environment looked. This place was also the poorest in the city, leading to a high crime rate. He saw several crimes and wrongs being perpetuated in broad daylight, breaking his heart. This place got his attention a few months ago. He had resolved to do something about it, but he had been procrastinating.

Fog rolled like breath from an unseen monster. Jack killed the headlights. Kelvin stepped into the dark, air cold against his skin. “Why here?” Jack exhaled. “This is where Darcy’s earliest crimes were traced. Where illicit shipments entered the city without ever being logged.” He turned to Kelvin. “This is where I think Rita will move her leverage.” Lilian. Kelvin’s fists curled. Jack advanced through the fog, motioning for silence. They reached an elevated platform overlooking a storage yard. Jack pointed. Below, silhouettes moved—loading crates into a concealed compartment beneath the pier floor.

BLIND BILLIONAIRE BRIDE (They call it madness but he calls it love) EPISODE HUNDRED AND EIGHT THEME: Who is guilty? CHICAGO, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA The drive to the location was silent. Ria sat at the front seat next to Drake with her hands tied to the front now. She was lost in thought of Ian. She knew how worried he would be knowing that she was missing. Drake didn't say anything even as he pulled up in a site. It was an abandoned house on an open field. No one would ever think of coming to this place to rescue her! Ria thought.

And lately, both had started slipping through my fingers in places I didn’t expect. Rafe entered without knocking. His movements were silent, precise, he didn’t waste time with pleasantries. That’s why he was still breathing. “They’re sniffing,” he said simply. I didn’t look up from the screen. “Where?” “South docks. Warehouse 17. Two plainclothes. No warrant, no badges. Just asking around.” I turned the tablet slightly, scrolling through the shipping logs we kept cleaner than most banks. Just as he pointed out, two officers were asking questions and roaming the area, their faces clear in the footage.

The short man questioned her as she came in with a chart and a sheaf of papers. Coat Expert: We got a match on the prints found in the car and on the girls' skin. Policeman 2: Address... About that. In the middle of the North Zone apartment network. Where there were a series of roadside hotels and houses in needy communities. To the south of the city, between the highways and the industrial zones. That was a crime region, where there were many abandoned sectors in a series of closed factories. Those were the old industrial zones that went through the decay of the city, at least in the human region.

It didn't take long for Damon to call back. " We've got a lead, sir. A race just finished in the industrial district outside the city. One of the winners was a woman on a matte black R6." He revealed. My blood ran cold. The industrial district was known for it's lawlessness. It wasn't the biggest crime hub in the city. The bratva was banned from walking freely because that was a district run by the Yakuza. Any one in the city knew that the two sides were mortal enemies.

Micah successfully pried Arlan away, and when Kyra yelled with that tiny voice of hers and kicked her legs against the mud, Micah pressed a needle into her neck, shutting her up. At the same time, I kicked Arlan down with my heels, sending him flying as he landed on the mud. He coughed, his body stained pink. We were on the outskirts of the city. Somewhere between the beach and the main roads. It was quiet here, with very few people passing by on foot. It was the best location to commit murder. “What are you going to do with him?” Micah asked me. Kyra was on my right shoulder, unmoving.

COLE We left the house close to midnight. Lena didn’t say much on the drive back. I didn’t push her. Noah was still up when we got to the apartment, laptop open, surrounded by printouts. He looked up the second we walked in. “I found something,” he said. “About the number that texted Lena.” “You traced it?” I asked. “Not exactly. But I ran the pattern past my cousin. He says it’s not a Ridgeview burner. Not Silverclaw either. It pings off a tower near the old warehouse district downtown. Nobody from either pack has business down there. Hasn’t for years.”
