Rise of The Fallen

Rise of The Fallen

VERITY I followed behind Usel, her long brown hair swaying side to side in front of me. She didn’t say a word, and neither had Shamshiel as I had left the room; however, I felt his eyes on my back as I had departed. Instead of being uncomfortable it felt normal, as if him having his eyes trained on me was as normal as breathing. I noted this in my mind but didn’t want to consider what it meant for me. Down and down, we went, the stairs spiraling even deeper underground, the walls gradually becoming rougher and rougher. Clearly, we were headed to a prison of some sorts, the dampness in the air and smell of human waste made that apparent enough. I covered my nose in an effort not to gag at the

All in all, I liked the overall concept of the novel. Love, hatred, revenge, etc all emotions displayed by each character was totally good. There were some loopholes here and there in story such as the Ring pendant being with samrat was later being with Erica. But overall good work by the author👍

This is so dark and twisted. Just, WOW! I'm only 78% through but I'm definitely reading your other stories when I'm done with this one. This has me feeling all the bad feelings. FL is an amazing character. There's some editing that can be done, fix a few words, but it's still a great story. Bravo!

I said then… Zahred, Iared & Daemnixi threw their D-Pads in the air and transformed into a Duel Disk and slotted in their right arms also they put on their duel gazer on, as for me a Dharkonic Tattoo appeared surrounding my left Dharkonic Eye and opened my Dharkonic Eye and began to glow more luminous. “Augmented Reality established” said the AI “okay Arnold let’s duel” said Iared “okay Iared, Zahred & Daemnixi bring it on” I said “DUEL!!!” We shouted and my duel against Iared, Zahred & Daemnixi had just begun.

Rejected: The Lycan's King Fated Mate

--- *Part 2: Western Ridge – 2:00 PM, Last Known Cache* Kade found it by accident. A wolf’s den, dug too deep. Soil too fresh. Ryn signaled the scouts to spread out. Kael wolves took the high ground. “One last one,” she whispered. “Then the ridge is clean.” They dug. Three crates this time. Ward components, same as before. But also a small iron box, locked, with a raven mark—both wings intact. Kade broke the lock with his claws. Inside: no gold. No letters.

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

I just lift the latch and walk in. The room is dark and primal, a stark contrast to the rest of Silvercrest. There are no tapestries, no polished wood. Just stone, straw, and the sharp, coppery tang of old blood and feathers. Cages line the walls, and from the gloom, a dozen pairs of cold, yellow eyes track my movement. Falcons, hawks, and in the largest enclosure, two massive Golden Mountain Eagles. They ruffle their dark feathers, their hooked beaks clicking, their displeasure a palpable force.

CAGED BY HIM

CAGED BY HIM

Your insights can guide me as I craft the next chapters, making them even more compelling and relatable. In writing “Caged by Him,” I aimed to explore themes of love, struggle, and resilience. Each character is a reflection of real-life complexities, and I hope their journeys inspire you as much as they inspired me while writing. The emotional highs and lows are meant to engage you, to make you feel every triumph and heartache. I believe that stories have the power to connect us, to spark conversations, and to foster understanding. I hope this book does just that.

Frequently Asked Questions

The hidden symbols in 'The Gilded Cage' are woven so intricately into the narrative that they feel like a second layer of storytelling. The golden cage motif isn’t just literal—it represents the protagonist’s luxurious but suffocating life, trapped by wealth and societal expectations. Birds appear repeatedly, symbolizing her longing for freedom, yet their clipped wings mirror her own limitations. The recurring pocket watch isn’t merely a prop; its broken gears hint at time running out for her gilded prison.

Another subtle symbol is the ivy crawling up the mansion walls. It looks decorative at first, but it’s actually choking the structure, much like how tradition stifles the characters. Even colors carry meaning: the excessive use of gold isn’t just opulence—it’s a visual reminder of how wealth corrodes authenticity. The embroidery on the protagonist’s dresses often features serpents, cleverly foreshadowing betrayal. These symbols aren’t just Easter eggs; they’re the backbone of the story’s critique on privilege.
