Shadowed Match

Shadowed Match

After we ate lunch, I went to the garden by myself to think things over. Out of nowhere, I heard a voice I knew. "Thorne, I made this bunny cake myself. Try it, will you? Tell me if it's good." I spun around, and there was Isolde, offering a bunny-shaped cake to Thorne's lips. Thorne did not even pause. He leaned in and bit into the bunny-shaped cake she was holding, a soft smile spreading across his face—a smile I had never seen before. Isolde brushed away the crumbs from his mouth with such care.

Dirty Valentine’s Secret

Dirty Valentine’s Secret

"The 'Biological Key' is secure. 'Hard-Reset' the tower!" But there was no "Acoustic" reply from the 90th floor. Only the "Low-Frequency" vibration of a "Total System-Collapse" echoing through the building's skeleton. The Shadow in the Exit The chapter ends with Aria and Thomas standing at the edge of the "Pressure-Gate," looking out into the "Gilded" lights of New Geneva. They were "Unindexed," "Broken," and "Free," but the "Master-Ledger" of the tower above was beginning to glow with a "Furious" red light.

THE CROWN THEY HID FROM ME

THE CROWN THEY HID FROM ME

“Then we will act with precision, not panic. Every ally, every ward, every street—we anticipate, we trap, and we confront. The Shadow’s Alliance will not find Eldoria unprepared.” The initial indications of the Shadow’s Alliance emerged at the city’s eastern gates, where imperceptible tremors and subtle magical disturbances suggested reconnaissance. Aera, Seraphine, and Kael moved swiftly with a contingent of elite guards and mages, meticulously tracing the disturbances. As they drew nearer, they discovered illusions of citizens and guards, each meticulously crafted to confuse and misdirect, concealing the actual operatives concealed behind their facades.

Shadows of the Past

Shadows of the Past

Golden arrows slowly emerged, timidly trying to chase away the shadows of the night. The great fire disc made its appearance. First, it emerged as a red line growing wider and wider until it rose victorious into the angelic blue sky, ready to stretch its arms over the whole earth. It tamed its color slightly, becoming comforting as it shyly soaked up the night frost with which you would think it was soothing its own color.

Fangs of Fate

Fangs of Fate

Shadows flickered and shifted, revealing glimpses of ancient fears and regrets. Emily's voice trembled, "What is this place? It's as if our pasts are being brought to life before our eyes." Liam stepped forward, his gaze unwavering, "This is the Dance of Shadows. It shows us our innermost fears and emotions, reflecting the parts of ourselves we might wish to forget." Rachel frowned, "But what purpose does it serve? Is it a test?" "It is," Liam replied. "This malevolent force thrives on negative energy, and it feeds on our darkest memories and emotions. To neutralize it, we must confront our shadows, accept them, and learn to forgive ourselves."

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

I finally said as I was passed into Javi’s arms. “I’m so fucking sorry baby, I’m so--” “Shh,” I cut him off. The darkness came again. I was in the dark again, like the time I saw Noora years ago. But there was nothing, just darkness. I tried yelling for someone, but there was nothing. What the hell did this mean? I thought about what Noora said in the first dream, and it all made sense. The prize was the bomb, I knew that now, and I never took my eyes off it, and maybe I was meant to see it through.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

SHADOW OF VOW'S

SHADOW OF VOW'S

he’d said, shaking his head. “She’ll adjust,” I replied tightly. “Sure,” Zayn chuckled. “And I’m the Pope.” Dinner was even worse. Alessia never missed an opportunity to jab me with her tongue, and Zayn sat there enjoying the show like it was a comedy act. After she stormed off again, Zayn leaned back in his chair, smirking. “She’s got fire. I like her.” “She’s reckless,” I muttered. “She’s alive,” Zayn countered. “Most women in our world are trained shadows. She’s a storm.”

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

had been burned to the ground. The Shadow Grows As the moon rose over the valley, Leo stood on the balcony of the Sky-Garden. He looked at the obsidian shard in his hand. It was a piece of the same tech that had powered the rig in the Sargasso Sea. The Shadow Council wasn't just a group of investors anymore. They were a reflection of the Vanes' own power. They were using the Vanes' own successes to build a better trap. "They're not coming for the mountain anymore, are they?" Ren asked, joining his brother on the balcony.
