She giggled. I growled at her, Jinx was still shrieking and shaking with pain on the ground. I couldn't bear to see my beta and best friend in pain. Anger rose inside me like a volcano that was about to erupt. I belted out a loud growl and I focused on my energy within. I imagined the witch's head being ripped off, that's the one who had Jinx in pain, suddenly I heard her screaming in agony, Jinx stopped wailing and staggered to his feet, he made his way back over to where Felix and I were.

When she saw that Prince Caspian was not holding her notebook tightly, she immediately pulled it out of her grasp and quickly ran to the exit. Yes! A wide grin flashed on her face but it was immediately replaced by shock when Prince Caspian spoke. "Clyde and justine being the main Characters in your dirty story is not good you know." She look back at him with her wide eyes. Prince Caspian have a mocking smirk on his face. He hit a spot! He read my notebook. "How dare you?!" She shout with her shock voice. "It is clearly written on the first page that you will not open the next page but you did! You gossip man!" She accuses the man for opening her notebook.

It’d be pitiful to watch if it were anyone else- but since it’s Clay, it’s satisfying as fuck. I snuggle into Jax’s side, looking up at him. “Jax, this is my shitbag ex, Clay.” Clay narrows his eyes angrily, looking from me to Jax. “I was just…” “Leaving,” Jax interrupts, infusing alpha command behind his steady voice again. “Whatever,” Clay huffs, whirling around and stalking off into the other room. Jax looks down at me, sliding a finger underneath my chin and tipping my face up toward his. “You okay? Want me to knock him around a little?”

I say as I flick a piece of meat off my shoulder. "Sorry," he apologized, and more of the Order men approached just as he said. "Ah, shit! Cap, get Pete. I'll handle these guys." I took a step and felt the throbbing pain inside. I drop to the floor. "Cap? You alright?" I place my hand on the ground and claw the asphalt hard to make my nails bleed. The virus breaks out inside me, and I don't know how much longer I can endure the pain. I clench my rapidly beating heart and inhale sharply. "I'm alright."

Kaelen rumbled softly. ‎ ‎"Sorry, Alpha," Jinx mumbled, looking ashamed. "I just... I drank from the stream near the north ridge. I was thirsty." ‎ ‎Kaelen’s hand stilled. His jaw tightened. ‎ ‎"The north stream," Kaelen repeated, his voice dropping to a dangerous register. "I told you that sector was off-limits." ‎ ‎"I know," Jinx whispered. "I'm sorry." ‎ ‎"Rest now," Kaelen commanded, smoothing the blanket. "Rhea will bring you soup. If you get out of this bed before I say so, I'll have you scrubbing pots with Celeste for a month."

Jaxon brushed off the invisible lint off his shoulder, motioning towards the guards on the door. “Enjoy rotting here forever” With that he was gone. *** Two more chapters till end!
