Candles flickered on stone altars, their flames bending toward something in the center. A figure stood there. Lilith. Her hair hung loose, her white dress stained with black smears like ink. She was whispering under her breath, eyes rolled back, hands glowing faintly as she drew strange marks in the air. When she turned, she smiled at me. “Don’t wake him,” she said softly. “Not yet.” “Where’s Griffin?” My voice shook. She didn’t answer. Instead, she reached out and touched one of the symbols hovering midair, and it burst into flame. The heat hit me like a wave, and suddenly, Griffin was there again, on his knees behind her, chains made of shadow coiled around his wrists.

“ I don't actually know . I mean I know it's not hurting to be near you like it was the last time .” Lilith thinks for a moment before she says “Have you tried to use your powers since it came back ?” I think for a moment “ No .” She stands and indicates for me to do the same “ I will chuck small light serges at you use your shield ok .” I nod and get up and move about fifteen feet away “ Ready .” she nods and lets her magic move through her fingers before firing her light ball at me . Letting my powers come forward I pull my shield up with ease but instead of the normal golden glow it also has what looks like black glitter in it .

“Kieran said I could come to the kitchen and eat. For the sake of my pup.” I turned and caught her rubbing the bulge on her stomach with a soft, almost reverent smile. “Well, I doubt he said that, he wouldn't want you in the same place with our Luna.” Astrid snapped. “Oh, hi, Luna,” Lilith said, suddenly shifting her attention to me. “Sorry I didn’t greet you properly yesterday. I was just… really weak.” She started stepping closer. “I'm Lilith…” Astrid quickly got up and blocked her path, pushing her backwards. “You can greet from there, she'll hear you.”

But I also needed to be able to do that without making it too obvious that I was singling her out. I was just considering my options when Lilith suddenly entered my office without an invitation. I hardly noticed her standing there until she cleared her throat, and when I looked up, she had her brow furrowed. She wore a delicate yellow dress, her soft brown hair carefully braided. Goddess, she looked like Natalia in this light. I quickly shook my head as if to dispel the thoughts, my jaw clenching. “I heard you’re planning on hosting a hunt,” she said.

For hours, they had drowned themselves in silence, each blaming the other but too proud to voice it. It was then that Lilith entered. Her presence was like poison seeping into an open wound — intoxicating, sharp, and venomous. Dressed in black silk, her hair cascading like a shadow around her face, she stood in the glow of the flickering torches, eyes burning with an almost cruel satisfaction. “Well,” she said softly, her voice slicing the silence. “So this is what’s left of the great Lycans? Three broken kings licking their wounds?” The triplets looked up, their jaws tightening, but they did not answer.

So, I slipped on Jaxon's shirt and went down to the basement. I willed myself to keep calm as I descended into the dimly lit chamber where the air was thick with the smell of iron and wolfsbane. Lilith was waiting. She sat cross-legged on the stone floor. Her long black hair was wild and her eyes were closed as if she was meditating. Her skin looked even paler under the flickering lights, her lips tinged blue. Still, she didn't look unfazed. The moment I stepped closer, her eyes snapped open.

The Priestess bowed her head, stepping away. “This is not the place…” “It’s exactly the place,” Lilith interrupted, her tone laced with venom. “Tell me, Priestess, does the Moon bless adulterers now?
