The Starlet's CEO Domination

The Starlet's CEO Domination

"Tomorrow at 5 o'clock, the first checkpoint is Houhai. If you arrive there before 6 o'clock to watch the sunrise, you'll receive a budget of 300 dollar." Upon hearing this, everyone felt miserable. Six o'clock meant they had to wake up at five. Isabella frowned, "Are you guys insane? Who the hell wakes up at six to watch a livestream?" The barrage of comments erupted with laughter. The director's face turned grim as he loudly reprimanded, "Isabella, no swearing allowed!" Isabella crossed her arms and retorted, "Then change it to watching the sunset!" "Are you the director or am I?" The confrontation ended with Isabella's defeat.

Online at Midnight. Missing by Morning

Chapter One The notification goes live at 12:03 a.m. Most people don’t notice it right away. Midnight notifications are easy to ignore—another bored scroll, another face glowing in the dark. But for the ones who do click, the screen opens to something oddly quiet. No music. No filter. No bright smile. Just Lila Monroe, framed too close, her face pale in the bluish light of her phone. The familiar background of her bedroom looks different tonight—messier, shadows stretching too long across the walls. Her hair is pulled back like she’s been running her hands through it too many times.

Midnight

Midnight

She got up in a rush from their king-size bed and looked at the time. The time was 1: 00 am. “Today is the 2nd day of July 2019. Game on, Brother. Game on, F-ing Moon goddess!.” “Why are you speaking to yourself, my beautiful vixen?”. Salvatore inquired, yawning and putting his curling midnight hair in place. Velda stood by their large window staring outside at the full moon, she felt the moon mocking her. A single tear fell from her eyes. Salvatore rushed over to her, hugging her from behind. He kissed her red hair, adjusted her luscious hair from the nape of her neck, breathed on it, and gave her light kisses on the neck to the collar bone.

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

I kiss the coyote fang at his throat. Celeste: “Happy Fourth of July, the sun princess just defended her title, the storm queen’s drunk on mead, and the lake is terrified of us.” Above us, the phoenix dissolves into a million tiny suns that spell, in perfect English and Japanese: WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED. Best summer ever. The Quiet One July 17, 2029 – 3:17 a.m., the roof of the old bathhouse ruins The sky is the color of bruised thunderclouds even though there isn’t a storm for a thousand miles.

Under a Different Sun

Under a Different Sun

I squinted and gave the bomb expert a half-smile. "There’s no need to waste time with words.” "Just do your thing, and quick." He nodded and got down to business with his tools. I licked my back teeth. Great. Now of all times I was dying for a smoke. The afternoon in Safrana? It was blazing hot. I had been standing in the blazing sun for what felt like an eternity, and it seemed like the sun was trying to cook me alive.

Maya’s POV Midnight is rude. It removes logic. It removes fear. It removes clothing in your imagination before you can stop it. And unfortunately, my imagination has a favorite victim. My next door neighbor is tall, unfairly attractive, and has the kind of voice that could convince a nun to sin without even raising his tine My name is Maya Collins. I am nineteen. I am supposed to be focused on saving my family business, finishing university, and behaving like a responsible adult.

A Life Without Sunlight

A Life Without Sunlight

" Something in my head stabbed again. My vision went dark for a split second. I clenched my teeth and forced myself through the wave of dizziness. "What’s wrong?" Mom asked, her tone edged with impatience. "Nothing. Motion sickness." "Dramatic." She let out a cold snort. "Just like your father. A grown man who can’t handle a little discomfort." I closed my eyes and swallowed the metallic taste rising in my throat. In my next life, I won’t come back. The drive lasted five hours. By the time we reached Crestview Heights halfway up the mountain, night had completely fallen. The place was brightly lit, yet eerily silent.

CLAIMING MY SUNSHINE

CLAIMING MY SUNSHINE

SHAWN One minute I’m sitting on my bed, still in yesterday’s clothes, staring at nothing in particular and the next, I’m waking up to sunlight cutting through the curtains and a dull heaviness sitting behind my eyes. For a second, everything feels normal. Then it comes back. The pack. The bond. Kane. I exhale slowly, dragging a hand over my face before reaching for my phone on the nightstand. A notification blinks on the screen. Mike. " I know you left.Just… whatever you decide, I'm on your side."
