She looks up with wide, teary eyes, her face tear-stained as she tries to fight back the sniffles.
“Is packing all done?” She asks and I nod, making my way towards Jessica and kneeling in front of her.
“Everything but this room. Do you want it packed away?” I ask, gently reaching out and wiping away the tears.
“Yes, please.” She whimpers out, burying her face into the cream bunny. My heart breaks at the sight of her, and I impulsively pull her into my arms. She lets me hold her, her face moving from the bunny to the crook of my neck.
