He kept his head lowered, continuing to block me without saying a single word. I clutched my pocket knife as I warily asked him, "What the hell do you want?" He raised his head to look at me. He had a complicated emotion swirling in his eyes, and his voice was hoarse when he called out my name. I didn't say a single word in response. I wondered if he was going to beg me to empathize with Frank and Madison again. "You were reborn, weren't you?" My expression morphed into one of shock upon hearing his words. I whipped around and tried to make a break for it.

Logan carefully put me down, then charged at Niles and they started fighting fiercely. My back hurt so much that I gasped for air. But just then, a bold idea flashed through my mind. Looking at Sophie acting crazy, I knew we couldn't keep the rebirth secret any longer. But more than the rebirth, I needed to create a role for myself. His restraint held firm, letting space breathe between us. “I remember waking up on that private jet,” I whispered, my voice thick with emotion. “The first day of this second life. I was terrified. I thought rebirth was my punishment - a chance to relive the pain so I could finally escape it. I planned everything. The contract. The revenge.
