Joanna was worried about losing her wealthy boyfriend, so every day she changed her tricks. One day, Jeffrey had a hangover and had just returned home when he received a call from Joanna. The woman on the other end of the phone had a gentle voice, just as he liked it in the past. "Jeffrey, something happened in the rose garden." Jeffrey became sober at once. "What happened?" Joanna paused for a moment, trying to be mysterious. "I saw the roses growing green leaves, are they going to bloom?" Jeffrey got up and jumped up and down to get there.

Logan had been in there with that creepy guy for at least twenty minutes. I couldn’t really hear much because their voices were too low. I did hear that Logan had to go help this Armond guy next week. I don’t know what kind of business Armond does but it doesn’t seem like Logan was thrilled to see him. I know he made me feel uneasy and my gut feeling never lies to me. I was looking out the window when I heard Logan open the door. I turned to look at him and he had that beautiful smile that made me melt.

I slid across tar, ripping and breaking a path as I scythed backwards. I was almost dazed; it was a struggle to get back my on feet and now there was only one thing on my mind; to rip apart whoever had hit me. I saw the others; Tia, Leya and Jhan. They were out of the car and approaching my assailant; Jhan was mouthing something to me but the rage that filled me clouded my sense. My attacker was dressed in a red robe with golden embroidery designs and hood over his or her head. I jumped at the hood, everything had paused all around me or was just moving too slow.

Ryle calmly asked, raising her brow. “Who are you to question?” Bruce growled. He’s one of our more traditional males who believes that women aren’t made to fight. They are made to be seen and not heard.
