It had to be a dream. The intensity of the kiss increased in intensity from tender to insistent. Heat and passion erupted from our lips. Logan's hands went again to the skin on my back like he couldn't get enough of it. His every movement made me hotter. I wanted him so badly I could barely think. His mouth was firm and hungry, his tongue caressing mine like he couldn't get enough of my taste.

I said angry that he is making it seem irrelevant to talk about her and what I feel. He stood there looking at me for some time then moved closer. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make seem like I don't want to hear you out. And she is not my lover, you are." He gave me a kiss on the lips and I immediately pushed him away. I turned around, my heart leaping as thoughts of why he must have held me back filled my mind. "Your lips," He pointed as he brought his thumb closer. His thumb moved against my lips gently, he rubbed on it with care in his eyes and when he was done, he planted a kiss on them again before pulling back. He opened his safe and brought out a lipstick which he handed over to me "Use this," He said.

I swipe the lipstick across my mouth in one smooth stroke, meeting her eyes in the reflection of my compact mirror. "It’s like you’re.." "The devil?" I ask, snapping the mirror shut. "Maybe."

I consume him, drinking in the familiar, intoxicating taste of him until I’m completely lightheaded. Satisfied for now, I drag my lips down to his jaw, planting wet, deliberate kisses along his neck. My red lipstick clips the starched white collar of his dress shirt. “Oops,” I let out a soft laugh, half-heartedly trying to smudge the red stain away with my thumb. “I didn't mean to.” Marcus lets out a low, vibrating hum of disapproval, his hands gripping my waist. “Sure you didn't, baby. You love seeing it there. You love marking your territory.”
