The Orphaned Queen

The Orphaned Queen

Ryker says, I definitely feel something is off, but push it to the back of my mind because today is her day, and I don't want her to pick up on my discomfort. The elder has them recite their vows and calls for Mia and Annie to bring out the crown and sward that Orian and I had custom-made for our mates. After the elder places the sapphire and diamond encrusted crown on Rains' head, he helps her to her feet and announces her as the crowned Queen of the Southern Werewolf Kingdom, and I quickly walk to her side and guide her to her throne beside mine. He then Knights Jessica as the Female Beta, and after announcing her as the Female Beta of the Southern Werewolf Kingdom, Orian does the same, gu

His Silver Mate

, she said. "It's okay", I replied. She left leaving us in her living room. All the selves filled with books and glass bottles. It's the heritage of her ancestors. One book from self in blue hard cover caught my eye. I grabbed the book. The cover of the book fascinated me. 'The Cursed King' was written in golden cursive letters. Beautiful and ancient. I tossed the pages and started reading. 'Blood spilled all over the ground. Bodies lay lifeless. Houses burnt. Children crying.

To Be A Duchess

To Be A Duchess

I must do my objective here first. at last, now here in the History section. unlike the books from other shelves who has the same way of oldness in them, the books in the History section has different stages of being old. some are really worn out and some where just fairly new. grabbing a random book, I skimmed through the pages, wanting to know what era or year this was written, or what year did the content of the book happened. but the book only talked about the happenings of the coronation of the King Youseff Troy Von Travensky and Queen Violetta Suzette Perues. grabbing another book, i skimmed again but it was not the one i was looking for, ‘Maybe i should go for the newer ones.’

Claimed By The Lycan King

Claimed By The Lycan King

Each suite told a story of the monarch who had inhabited it—from the austere minimalism of King Marcus III to the lavish opulence of Queen Elara the Magnificent. "This was my great-grandmother's room," I said, opening a door to reveal a space that seemed frozen in time. Delicate furnishings in pale blue and silver, bookshelves filled with leather-bound volumes, a writing desk positioned to capture the best light through tall windows. "She was a scholar before she was a queen. Wrote twelve volumes on Lycan history and ancient magic that are still considered definitive texts." Lola moved through the space with reverent steps, pausing to examine the titles on the bookshelves, the delicate silve

I became the king's obsession

I became the king's obsession

"I have a novel which you probably haven't read yet, but I doubt you'll like the genre." Scheriziel squinted her eyes and asked, "Don't tell me it involves 'yah-know-thingy'..." "Absolutely!" "Oh~la~la~ Let me borrow that book. I'll finish it before the king arrives back." The maid hurried to her ward and brought the book to the queen. "I'll take my leave, ma'am. Enjoy reading!" Scheriziel jumped on her bed and started reading until she got lost in the dimension the story had created. She was too focused on the story to hear Viishaun's footsteps.

The human queen

His gaze lifts. And locks onto mine. The room fades. Just for a moment. Then A voice rises above the noise. Smooth. Unfamiliar. And far too interested. “So,” the man says, stepping forward, his eyes fixed on me. “This is the new queen.” My breath catches. Because there is something in his gaze Something dark Something dangerous.

The Queen's Mate

The Queen's Mate

Zora held it out to me, "this belongs to you." I gingerly held the book between my fingers in fear it would disintegrate to ash if I was too rough. The leather on this book had been embroidered with purple thread—the image of a howling wolf's head being formed. If I listened closely enough, I could make out faint whispers coming from the book—a cacophony of different sounds urging me to do one thing: open the book. "The wings called to him the way the wolf calls to you," Zora explained. She moved to exit the room with one last statement, "Only one person would make a better queen than you and when it comes time for them to rule, you will be proud."

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

All The Queens Kings - Book 8

A rainbow of colors that could make you smile, bringing peace after the storm. As Leneve stepped from the vehicle, I felt her darkness with full force. Dark blues and purples seeped from her, almost hiding the Lycan that was surrounded in shades of yellow and green. I could feel the darkness inside her slither and seep from her pores, yet goodness mixed with it, tainting the dark and animating the goodness that surfaced as she greeted my Queen and then me. I take her hand and feel the swirling and pulsing of her magic, almost matching mine. Leneve was powerful. More powerful than Senko could have ever imagined being.

The beginning of this book was hard, but then all the characters showed their strengths and it really wrapped Lamia’s part of the series up. The whole series was definately one of my favourites with strong female characters
