Red Rebels Book Novels & Stories

In that instant, I wanted to reveal her true colors to the whole world. Jason smirked smugly and reached his hand into my shirt collar. I returned my senses with a shudder. Suddenly, I kicked him hard in the groin, grabbed the thumb drive from his hands, and ran like my life depended on it! He crouched down in pain, roaring furiously at me, “You’re dead, Cheryl Summers! Let’s see how long you can stay first in the class!” When I got home, I immediately put the thumb drive into my computer.

Kent responded. “Okay then, I guess we have a place to start,” Ryder said. "Do you remember how many fighters he has?” “Not too many,” it was now Peter speaking, “maybe about one hundred to one hundred fifty rogues and about fifty of those are actual warriors that were banished, lone wolves or left their pack voluntarily. “How good are they?” Ryker asked. Peter snorted, “they will be no match for RedFang warriors.” “That’s all I need to know,” Ryker said, clapping and rubbing his hands together. “Caleb, come with me, we have teams to put together four teams to go on and find that asshole. Sorry, Ryder.” Ryker wrinkled his nose.

It seemed that karma had decided to play a cruel joke on me, and at the worst possible time. It had been two weeks since I had fled from Dante and his men, all for the sake of my mother. However, even now, I couldn't bring myself to betray Dante. I reached into my purse, checking once again to ensure that the file Valentine had been so desperate to acquire was still in my possession. The truth was, I had two powerful men hot on my heels- Valentine and Dante, both searching for me relentlessly.

she asked. “It was.” I said with a wistful smile. But then I refocused on the matter at hand. “So, the rebels. How do you think the men will react to me joining? Do you think they will accept me into your group?” The redhead gave me a sidelong glance, her lips curling into a confident smirk. “If anyone has a problem with it, they can take it up with me. If they dare.” she said. I couldn’t help but smile at her boldness. There was a strength in her, a fire that reminded me of the women back home who fought for their families and their people.

I hoped she might be a good person. "Well, your mom... is, um," his stuttering annoyed me. "Speak, damn it!" I almost yelled. "Your mom was a rogue; she grew up with a group of rebels," Simon shattered an ounce of hope I had. How iconic. My father, a Beta of one of the worst packs, and my mom, a rogue. "How do I know you're not lying?" I could feel it, and from the way he spoke, he didn't sound like someone who was lying, but still, you can't trust words.

Then, quietly, she asked, “What do I do now? Where do I go from here?” The figure leaned close, voice low, fierce. “You survive. You stand, even when it feels like you can’t. You walk through the fire they lit around you. And you don’t wait to be saved. You decide what this pain makes of you—ashes… or something they’ll regret burning.” Her eyes burned into Selene’s. “Selene Ward… make them pay.” Selene bit her bottom lip as she held the figure’s gaze. Her chest rose and fell quickly, breath unsteady. Tears streaked her cheeks, but she didn’t look away.

The stranger smirked, moving sideways, keeping himself close enough to grab me if I tried to take to my heels. “Why don’t you boys mind your own business?” he said, almost lazily. The leader didn’t answer. His gaze shifted to me, then to Ivana. “We’ll be taking both of you now.” “Like hell you will,” the stranger shot back. For a second, they just stared at each other, like wolves circling. And then. All hell broke loose. One of Kennedy’s men lunged, and the stranger met him halfway, slamming his shoulder into the man’s chest. The gun clattered to the floor.

I’m running as fast as I can through the trees, my heart is racing. I feel like it will explode any minute. I can see the opening in the gate, my escape isn’t far off. I hear people yelling dogs barking, I know they are searching for me. I’m almost to the exit, my freedom, “Stop right there!!!” The guard yelled. I keep running, there’s a gunshot and it all goes black.

The moon was directly overhead now. Huge and red and filling the sky. Its light turned everything crimson. Like the whole world was covered in blood. A rebel got past me and ran at Eldric. I tried to stop him but another rebel blocked my way. The rebel raised his sword to kill Eldric. Eldric kept chanting without even looking up. He trusted that we would protect him. I threw myself at the rebel threatening Eldric. Knocked him down. Killed him with one bite to the neck.

"Please share with the class your analysis of 'The Lady of the Camellias.' I'm sure you have a unique perspective on the subject of the redeemed courtesan." The laughter of her classmates made Gia blush intensely. She immediately took her essay and walked to the front of the class. "The Lady of the Camellias, is a story about..." Gia began, her voice barely audible." "Speak louder, unless you have something to hide," Professor Ruiz interrupted. This caused more laughter among her classmates, Gia took a deep breath and continued, raising her voice. "It's a story about social prejudices and the power of true love. Marguerite Gautier is judged by her past, but..."
